2010 was a great year for gaming and plenty of new games pushed their way to the top of the pile. Most of the awards were given based on polls done on the GameOgre.com forums. The Best MMORPG is the winner of the MMORPG showdown that was posted here. Some categories had games that were expected to win like Call of Duty: Black Ops for best online console game and StarCraft 2 taking best online strategy game, there were some hotly contested wins as well. The new expansion really helped World of Warcraft’s bid for the top spot as it put its name back in the news. Some fun addictive games like Angry Birds and Farmville also took home awards.
