This match up pitted up 2 great games. Both have been out for a while and until recently both were pay to play. However not long ago LOTRO went free to play. Both games have great graphics and other nice features.

LOTRO online dominated in Forum Votes and came out ahead in the review scores. Being Free to Play definitely helped LOTRO secure the win.

This match up pitted up 2 very different games. Both have been out for a while but they have little else in common. Runescape is a browser based game with decent graphics that has had its share of ups and down but maintains a nice fan base. Runes of Magic is graphicly stunning downloaded game that has won Game of the Year through several venues already for 2010.

The main variant was 2 very different forms of gameplay. DDO is very party and dungeon based while Atlantica uses a single person group control turn based system.

This match up pitted up 2 of the largest paid to play games around. Though Lord of the Rings just as recently as 2 weeks ago went free to play, which might be what helped them win. As they squeaked ahead by 1 vote in the forum voting and didnt come out too much further ahead in the review voting either.
