Cross Fire vs. Battlefield 2142 Results

The Match-Up

This match was actually much closer than the final score indicates. The lead in voting was tight at first until Cross Fire started pulling away. Battlefield 2142 staged a late comeback, but it was not enough. Based on review scores, Battlefield 2142 jumped off to a great start, but never lead again after Cross Fire passed it up. CF now moves on to the finals to face either Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty 4.

Comment: Battlefield may be a better game, but I LOVE Crossfire already, and it's good enough for me, there's not enough in Battlefield for me to pay for it, and Crossfire is FREE, and it's a VERY good FPS.

Would be "'Nuff Said" but I would like to say more.
This is a great FPS game because, it is very realistic. Two shots in the head with any weapon kills someone, that will kill pretty much anyone in real life. You get rank ups as you get more points, and when you rank up, you get points and you can unlock new weapons/equipment. More importantly this game has nothing to do with "the higher levels own the lower levels." If you have better aim/control you can pretty much beat anyone. Overall, this game has what it takes to be a champion!

Yes, it is realistic, AND, it has better graphics, but it's not THAT realistic is it? ONE shot in the head in real life would kill someone, a more realistic game might be TrueCombat Elite, where it's no crosshair, iron-sights as well as the one shot in the head. Also, in Crossfire, one shot in the head would kill someone in one hit, so really, Crossfire is more realistic than Battlefield in that sense
Also, in Crossfire, you rank up as you get exp, and as you rank up, you get money and unlock new weapons/equipment to buy. And also, in Crossfire, it's not about "the higher levels own the lower levels", you win if you strategize with your teammates in Crossfire, and if you're a better shot than your opponent. i.e. you headshot them before they headshot you.

There are also more reasons why Crossfire beats Battlefield, first, and this is a BIG reason. It's FREE, and it works on weaker computers as well as higher-end computers. In fact, the only advantages Battlefield has over Crossfire is that it has a story, and a single-player mode, and it has better graphics. But none of those matter to me when all I want to do is play a good FPS in multiplayer against other people. BTW, Elimination in Crossroad, Ghost Mode, and Sniping are FUN!

Comment: gimme a break, bf2142 is not better than cf! i wouldnt even say that 2142 is the best bf.
