Cross Fire Versus Counter-Strike: Source Results

First round match in the Online Shooter Showdown.
The Match-Up
After War Rock versus Combat Arms proved to be rather one-sided, Cross Fire against Counter-Strike ended up being extremely close through out the entire week. Both games were also reviewed well by each person who voted. In fact, there was not a review score below 7 in this match. Forum voting was so close that one game may have never had a lead of more than one at any time.
Counter-Strike is quite possibly the best online shooter series ever in terms of popularity while Cross Fire is the new kid with its impressive Ghost Mode. Both games are seen as having less bugs and hackers than War Rock and Combat Arms. In the end, the new kid came out victorious because 1 more vote was better than CS: Source having a slightly superior review score. Ghost mode was mentioned frequently in both review and forum comments so that was a likely factor in Cross Fire coming out on top.

Comment: Tough choice. Both CF and CS are similar. I give the edge to CF because it is newer and ghost mode is awesome!
