Exteel Versus Battlefield 2142 Results

First round match in the Online Shooter Showdown.
The Match-Up
Exteel vs. BF 2142 pit two shooters with futuristic settings against each other. Like last week with Cross Fire versus Counter-Strike: Source, voting was close for most of the week and both games were reviewed rather well. However, Exteel came up short on both review scores and forum voting.
One of the key factors in voting this week was the perception that Exteel was not a hardcore shooter like BF 2142 or several other shooters in this tournament. Surprisingly, Exteel was not able to pull off the victory because it does not need to be purchased like BF 2142. It should also be noted that BF 2142 was voted as GameOgre.com's Game of the Month for November 2008 and decisively won a poll to determine which Battlefield Game besides Battlefield Heroes would enter the tournament.

Comment: I have hard time seeing Exteel as being a superior shooter to bf2142. Exteel is a free mech game but not a good shooter.

Comment: Battlefield 2142 is THE BEST FPS EVER! Period. When you first join, you may think you sucked at the game because your KD was 3-24... Haha you suck cause mine wasn"t ever that bad. But you get better, the fastest way to get better is to join a clan, just a laid back clan that has good teamwork at first, but when you get good join a clan that you know has superb teamwork. Me and my clan revive like hell and all have great accuracy, I"m in ^EIN^. BUt this game is hella fun, try it out, so worth the two years or so I"ve had it.
