Default How is EVE PvP?

Any good or dreadful? Along with Tabula Rasa, I always wanted to play Eve but just never have. Looks too complex to me, I don't know.

That is why I heard. However, forget about Tabula Rasa. It will be closing soon.

PvP is very big in EVE.

1. You can be a very good pilot and become a pirate and try and PvP people around the cities and mining areas, but that will get you killed by Concord (Police).
2. You can go to areas with a very low security level and kill people there. The low security level means that there are no police, but more pirates.

Hope a helped!

How's EvE for newcomers now? I've heard it's a real high-spec game with much depth in it which is very time-consuming. How's the support and community for newcomers and the potent for them to grow into considerable charachters in the world?

Best thing about EVE is you can choose your direction, so even new players who join can specialise in a certain area that interests them and out perform vets who have played for years.

Also, with the skill system you can do anything, no classes etc to prevent you from using ships/skills/items - so if you can continously adjust your character to your liking.

Back to the orginal question, combat in eve can be complicated, but thats what makes it so good - tactics and planning play a huge part.

In eve, the battle is often won or lost before the first shot is fired!
