A fair warning to anyone who reads this, you may want to think again before playing any game on ijji. This is a story about them.
In one of their games, on Friday Oct 9, their was a server wide glitch caused by a patch that basically SWAPPED the data of many characters. Many people got free gold, free levels, and/or free skill points. Many people lost these. Some people gained 70 levels, some gained 30k gold. Some lost 70 levels, some lost 30k gold. Now, I don't have to explain how this damages the game severely were anything BUT a server rollback applied. GM_Etoile responded by releasing a patch that was supposed to fix this. It fixed nothing and people were still getting glitched. Etoile did not stick around to see if the patch worked and fleed to the weekend leaving players to wait until Tuesday (The GMs apparently had Discoverer's Day off). Tuesday comes around and what seemed like the only logical choice (rollback) is one that, for some reason, our beloved GM decides against. What is her answer to this problem? "Tell me your data lost, and don't lie!" This is disgusting and I would not even have expected this from ijji. So instead of saving the data of people who have played for a year+, they decide to save the data of a few days (a day if they would have had ROLLED back on friday to before the glitched patch was applied), not to mention invalid data of people spending things that were not theirs (money/skill points). Ijji may have perhaps pleased a few people who have played legitly over the weekend, but in turn screwed over the rest that have had data swapped, especially those that have played since gng and TFT (short-lived company) had owned Lunia. So where will this take Lunia now? - many banned characters (due to the glitch that caused some to get auto-banned) - inflated economy - illegit characters - characters whom have not been correctly restored - dead Lunia |
