If your talking about the programs: All of the veterans of the RPG Maker swear by VX Ace being the best, MV being new and with less base assets was shunned, but the fact that you can export multi-plat makes me want it. I personally own XP and VX Ace and prefer to use VX Ace.

If your talking about games made using RPG Maker..

    Favorites
Lamia Must Die - This is a free game available on Steam, and pretty unique. While the game itself is short it can be quite challenging.
In Search of Immortality - Very funny with a side of serious, has some interesting parts and was the first RPG Maker game I played.

    Wishlist
Angels of Fasaria: Version 2.0 - From what I've played and what my friends have told me it's a pretty fun game, my main interest is the additional MMO feature (currently removed as they are remaking it).

    Honorable Mentions
    Tkl Online
    The Book of Legends
Leigonwood 2: Rise of the Eternal's Realm

That is a good way to do it:).l In fact, we have a monthly award for the best high quality poster.

Blog articles could also use good comments like that and now have a Review of the Week based on them:).

I was actually thinking about starting up blogging again, never really gave it an effort. Just not sure what to really blog about, possibly gaming new (I'm sure someone else is covering this already though). That's awesome though, I'll probably be participating in some of these. :p

EDIT: The "Blog" button on the site takes me to http://www.gameogre.com/ instead of http://www.gameogre.com/blog. Just thought I'd let you know Ogreman.

EDIT2: Errrrmmm... Either I'm missing something or the personal blog feature is gone? :dead

The forum blog feature is indeed dead, it died with vbulletin as it was a vb thing. The Blog is the mainsite, which is basically the old mainsite's content, with the mainsite blog integrated and the base.

You can blog on the mainsite now or comment as I said before.

  11. XP is one of the oldest, VX is its successor, VX Ace is an improved version of VX, MV is JS-based (replacing the Ruby-based engines), and MZ is, I believe, the latest version of RPGMaker.

Despite MZ being the newest, MV is probably the better option because there's more plugin support.
