Hello friends!

Have you noticed that MapleStory is currently offline. nexon said that they will make some update or so for 2.5 hours but it is almost a day since MapleStory is offline....

Anyone know what happened?

 

Is it true that you lose xp when you die?

I heard a lot of ppl saying that one of the biggest cons of ms is that when you die, you lose xp and the xp rate in the game is very slow
and when you do die, it will be very frustrating.
Is it true that you lose xp when you die? idk if it's true or not i never played it

the exp rate isnt that slow anymore since of big bang patch

 

I don't know why but I died 3 times but lost 0 exp.... really I didn't lost any exp. Also I asked my friends who also died and they told me that they haven't lost any exp or items nor meso.

So I am still doubtful that whether we loose exp now (after BB) when we get killed......

 

Big bang makes the game more interesting in certain ways only, but the virtual cash items makes the game less fun

 

Yea. You can die and test it yourself. Its really annoying though x_x

 

Ugh. Patches for games are always like that. Instead of taking the required time they usually say it would. It takes a whole day or a few extra hours.

I think Pig Beach (I Believe that's what it's called). Has Red Ribbon Pigs. Good if your around lvl 20. Since your a warrior you should fight monsters with high avoidability and speed. Sleepywood, Ariant, and especially Perion is a good place to hang out since that's the area where you get your job advancement. But you shouldn't go to deep into Perion until you're around 30.

 

They said MapleStory would be offline for 8 hours but actually it was 27 hours 46 minutes

 

They were probably having technical difficulties.

 

Yeah...... some nasty players hack the meso..... but at least Nexon should inform it to us while the fixing was ongoing......

 

I dont really mind losing exp when i die (since earning those exp back is so much easier now after BB patch)
It's just that you get teleported back to town and have to walk back all the way that is REALLY frustrating x.x''

 

In Cash Shop there's an item called safety charm: it will 'protect' your exp when you die. Only 1 time use though. D:

 

level 200 beginer

once i saw a level 200 beginer on the toutorial map
didn't manage to get a screen shot though

 

isn't that from the story line of an Aran? (if you make an aran u start with being lvl 200)
or was it the maple beginner island for normal explorers?
