    So what do you say? Should there be PVP in MapleStory. I will give some reason below about why shouldn't and why should there be PVP in MapleStory -

    Reasons of why Shouldn't there be PVP in MapleStory -

    1. I have played some PVP type side-scrolling MMORPG like Wind Slayer, LaTale etc. I found that in these type of games the PVP system is basically a team battle. If a player die quickly then all the other player in the team started hating him. I also noticed that usually high level player just use bad language or hate word to other player if he lose in a battle. So PVP system might create hatred among players.

    2. Lag! yes lag is the most annoying problem of PVP in these type of game. usually a player with low connection speed or low ram face lag and started hating the game.

    Reasons of why should there be PVP in MapleStory -

    1. Players can compete with each other and can challenge each other which usually is very interesting and exciting.

    2. I think in current age 99% games have PVP system. So if MapleStory get PVP system then more people will join here.

    Doesn't Maplestory already have PVP (Desert Place I think)? I think Maple should have PVP. Since there isn't really anything to do except ctrl at monsters for hours. So it would be more challenging/exciting to battle an actual player instead of computer programed monsters.

    I don't think your first reason is really valid. If a player gets hate on they can report it as harassment or just leave, and there's already hatred among players. I think MS does have a PVP Room and its divided among certain lvls so a higher lvls doesn't get paired and battles a low lvl to make a fair battle.

    What topic starter means is PvP as in killing eachother's character. That has been released in KMS so we'll get it for GMS in like.. 1 year from now ?
