Meh. I only had a budget of $800, so I had to skimp on the SSD and the GPU.

In other news, does anyone have a suggestion for a good 1TB USB 3.0 external hard drive and a good portable mouse?

logitech has a nice portable mouse. I think my parents have a m185 logitech mouse and it's a good mouse. It's about 4 months old now and has given no problems whatsoever yet.

Yeah defiantly check out logitech, I've got one too and it's been great for me. Not one issue, good battery life, comfortable and has been knocked off the desk more than a few times without breaking. Love logitech's micro usb receiver as well, barely sticks out of the computer, vary ideal for laptops.

Haven't used any of them so can't say. In my opinion I don't think a touch mouse is worth it, full disclosure I've never used one so take it with a gain of salt.

Of those, I would either go for the first logitech one, or the one you have for your desktop now.

A touch mouse does seem a bit gimmicky to me (I have yet to use one, I still need a mouse and I'm working on the funds for it), but I think it could worth a shot.
