    I chose Rs just because it was the first MMO I actually liked when I started it:D
    In my opinion Wow is good too, but my wallet doesn't think so. It's a bit too expensive for me...Though I would buy playing time for Wow if I happened to have some extra cash:D

    I played both but Imma have to put my vote on runescape.
    runescape has this thing where you quit and forget about it, but then remember it and start playing it again haha. and with RS you can practically play anywhere!

    WOW didnt have this effect on me so meh....
    though RS is kinda going downhill lately :/....

    From the comments that I've read, it seems that people are only voting for Runescape over WoW because they don't have to purchase a monthly subscription to play it. That is a fairly reasonable criterion for choosing a game to play, and it's perfectly understandable for people to vote Runescape over WoW based on that factor alone. After all, who doesn't like playing games for free? But if I have to choose between paying to play a game of good quality, or playing one of poor quality for free, I would always opt for the former. If for some reason, you are unable to pay for games or unable to afford the cost of playing WoW, then your choosing Runescape over WoW is acceptable since that is the only game between the two that you can and prolly will be able to play. But if we are to base our votes solely on gameplay, which I will be doing, then Runescape should have no chance of winning over WoW. Runescape may have been sufficiently playable back during the early millenium when MMORPGs were scarce, but it simply cannot compete with today's online games, most of which are also free, and some of which are also browser-based. I'm not gonna fault anyone for having their own opinions, but I personally will not settle for Runescape when there are much better games out there, WoW being one of them.
