Little Harsh?

I just seen a new announcement on Maple Story website. I didn't post it here because it's not vary important but I did find it a little harsh. They released all the names of the accounts they banned in the last week. I don't think I've ever seen a game release the names of the accounts they banned.

This Method Of Announcing Banned Users has been passed down from generation to generation of Game Administrations. Although they've never done this before, Im not surprised they've finally adapted it

Well, kind of harsh. I think it's kind of like showing people the lesson there. If other people read it, they'll be thinking "Woah, don't want to end up there. Better watch out."

They have been doing this for a long time. The first time I've seen them announcing the names of the hackers was at 2005.

I think it's harsh too but they ignore the list. They either quit hacking or they continue hacking on another account.

Hackers and banned are different. They announce hackers all the time.

I like the idea of name and shame.
It also raises awareness of people who have seen players with similar names.
