Everyone knows of the latest competition between games; the Online Shooter Showdown. It was a very detailed tournament filled with blood sweat and tears. (not really :P) In the end two games went to the finals, and those games are Team Fortress 2 and Crossfire. Anyone could argue why this was a very hard competition, and I'm going to be one of those people.

Hey everyone, I'm gonna talk about a little known MMOFPS today. It's called APB (All Points Bulletin) and it could literally change the MMOFPS genre. In my opinion it could be one of the better MMO's out there.
The game has a very simple premise. You have the criminals who can commit crimes on the street and you have the enforcers; they are the ones who stop those criminals from getting away with those crimes. It may be simple but it has a lot of room to be exciting.

Hey guys it's me Insanespoon. I've been thinking about what makes a good shooter recently. Is it the progression? The feeling you get if you kill someone? Or some other type of feeling that just gets your blood flowing?

For me it's the progression. A recent game to really make me want to level is Gears of War 2. Until recently they used the standard Xbox Live Truskill system. they decided to move to a level system. After that has happened I find myself playing a lot more then I should...
