The Endgame

Also known as Elder game. an 'endgame' is the later ending point of the game.
For example after lvl 80 in WoW, the game is known to begin, because of its magnificent ever growing content. In this article I'll be talking about endgames of some games.

A game that will not bore you once get to the max level is WoW. There are too many things to do. Mainly raiding instances and getting gear. After a while this too does get monotonous, but even after that theres Arenas, Bgs, Achievements and too many things to accomplish that you will simply continue playing.

There is also runescape. If you look at this game positively and if you don't get bored of the skills, you really can't reach the endgame point in this, even though after lvl 90 you can do so many more things.

See I haven't tried many P2P MMO's but from the free ones that i've tried, there really isn't much endgame content. In most of the free MMo's there's the known outdoor bosses and PvP. Apart from runes of magic I haven't seen a free MMo with Dungeons, instances and unique endgame content.

If you're the type that mainly enjoys PvP then maybe WoW, RS endgames arnt for you. But then you might try guild-wars. You can get to lvl 20 in about a week. At this point if you join an active guild you can have some great pvp experiences. But I heard that this game also has some instances apart from the game being an instance it self. For example Underworld of something is supposed to be a challenge for even the toughest players.

Games like WoW, and Guildwars don't really take time to level up. If you're the type that enjoys levelling up and if you think that contantly doing the same raid over and over will bore you, you can try Final fantasy XI.
I didn't actually play this but I heard that you'll have to commit alot of your time to just to level up. In games like this you do get a better sense of achivement once you level up.

So far WoW probably has the better endgame because Bliz still improves it. GW messed up announcing GW 2.

I've only gotten endgame in one game: Darkfall. Since there is no start or end, I've been at the endgame ever since I've started.

Is Darkfall cool? I heard a butt-load of hype about that game.

Well if you go by only hype you'll hate the game. If you take it as it is then you might like it.

I reached end game in Twelve Sky and Megaten, although Megaten never really ends, as your trying to get uber new demons all the time.

I found that theres really not much to do in Twelve sky at the end cept PvP, and PvP in that game is pretty poor.

IMO, WoW has the best endgame...Blizzard builds the expansions with endgame in mind.

Hype ruins a lot of games for the player, you expect too much, and you end up hating the game. It's happened to Spore already.
