Total Annihilation Online!

First of all, thank you for your description above. it is clear and it really helps.
I tried to play against a bot. But I got the message "Missing default cursor" when I click on start. I tried with different AI, still the same message.

Oropher,what about playing against another player? did that work? there are usually people online playing XTA? the only bot compatible with XTA 9.45 is RAI bot, as decribed above. The should work.. works for me...

Abyss, the XTA mod is very similar to the old game, its different in the fact that its all online, and its all 3D.. and its all new (ish)..

I love this game. after playing this i have gone of all other RTS games because none i ever play will ever be as good as this. I did 'add game' for this but it hasnt showed up yet.

So its Total Annihilation Online but its called Spring? I am confused . Its an unofficial version?

Its not official, its not even called Total Annihilation.
Spring is a RTS game engine, it depends on people to make MODS for it. one of the original mods for it was a pretty much an identical remake of Total Annihilation, and from that other mods have been made using the units etc. XTA and Balanced Annihilation are 2 of the most popular mods and are very similar to the orignal Total Annihilation. XTA is almost idential. Download it and see!, go to spring.jobjol.nl for all the latest files
