Beyond Protocol: Best Strategy Game

Beyond Protocol was voted as the Best Strategy Game on GameOgre.com's Forums at Best Strategy Game: Online Game Battle Tournament when it defeated StarCraft in the Finals. Like Diablo 2, StarCraft has kept a loyal following but it was not enough to beat the young MMORTS.

That's great to see, been absent for a while again. Mostly due to being at Gen Con where I got to see Beyond Protocol and their awesome booth. They've got a patch coming, which they had running there, and it's awesome! Agent's get random faces, there are many more explosions, plus completely revamped builders that make it a more intuitive process! There's more I just can't remember it all.
In RTS vs MMORTS, I'd say there's no comparison so while I love the oldies like C&C, Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo, I've got to side with the future!

Hello GameOgre'ers,

I am known as Diplomat and I am with Dark Sky Entertainment, developers of Beyond Protocol. I am happy to see so much interest for the game on this site.

We at DSE are also quite thrilled that it's been voted better than Starcraft. As some have pointed out on this site already, obviously the two are from different decades and genres, so while we won't be advertising this, we are happy to see the interest.

As FightOYoLife said, there is a new patch. It is now on the beta server. We will be working to fix the lion share of bugs and then open the game up to stress testing, meaning we will need more testers. If you are involved in a guild or feel you have something to contribute, please contact me either through email or this forum. If you have general questions feel free to leave them here, if that is ok with ogreman that is.
