I think there are only 4 active Ironheads on the largest village page and 8 active Wompers.

We had a problem in the private forum with porker claiming he was also lordofddragons. I asked ogreman to look into the claim. Porker/lordofddragons has been banned from the forum.

The trash talking was obnoxious, but a message from knightavon made it clear that porker/lordofddragons had passed on a private message by Coffee Addict to knightavon.

Morale of the lesson: if you are going to spy with a second account, don't call attention to yourself!

Real morale: no multiple accounts!

Ironheads are now in second place. They were in second place before zmoney descended and took ogreman down from 400k to below 200k. I think the move back to second place is due to several factors: shivers89 and ogreman growing and zmoney attacking a lot of Wompers and Gold Beasts.

Since we have the fewest players of the four nations, this is quite an achievement. Congratulations to shivers89, the March Ironhead Ogre Warlord!

i am finally an ironhead! i thought that since i was beat by them so much last season that i would join this season

Unfortunately, the Ironheads from the last game are either retired (me) or Steelskulls (speedyturtle, shivers89 and zmoney) or Gold Beasts (ogreman and Coffee Addict).

Unfortunately, the stats from the last game were used. Since the Ironheads were one of the original three nations, they have the worse stats. Experience has demonstrated that the intel bonus of 25% is worth very little. Although I used spies extensively in the Ironhead/Steelskull campaign, spies are cheap when you are at the troop cap and they don't desert.

The Steelskulls traded off some of that fairly worthless intel bonus for offense.

The Gold Beasts were formed by combining two of the original nations and they got the bonuses for both nations. They have none of the fairly worthless intel bonus.

Given that the Gold Beasts also have the most players, I would suggest that the Ironheads enter into a truce with the Steelskulls, with the duration of the truce to last until the Gold Beasts are in third. That would be rationale for both the Ironheads and Steelskulls.

Given how the game develops, it may be rationale for the second place nation (Ironheads or Steelskulls) to keep the truce if breaking the truce not put them in first place.

I'm working on a thread for new players. Even though you are an experienced player, you might want to look at it.

The Ironheads stats have been improved since the GoldBeasts and SteelSkulls had better stats.

I think the Ironheads are the best nation for players who don't come on everyday bacuase of high defense.

I think the Steelskulls and the Gold Beasts have both concluded that control of the troop cap is essential. Of the 12 1000+ villages, half are Steelskulls and half are Gold Beasts.
