Flight Simulator X Project

I made a blog post about a little project I'm starting just for fun. The project is a trip across America in FSX. While it sounds like a small task FSX is real time so it takes a lot of time to get across America... not sure the exact amount but it will probably be more than 10 hours... so I need your help. I don't travel much so I'm not too familiar with places other than the States around where I live.

Right now the game is saved with the plane(a 737) parked at the gates in an airport in Grand Rapids Michigan... my plan is to fly to either Chicago or Minneapolis most likely Minneapolis but where I go from there idk.

Any suggestions for Cities I should stop in on my quest to make it across America will be welcomed. If all goes well and I still have free time after this project my next goal will be to make it around the world.

So again any suggestions will be welcomed. Updates will be made in my blog. You can post ideas here or in the blog post comments.

If all goes well I plan to complete this project in a week or two maybe less depending how much time I have.

I really have no idea about what cities are where, I live in Australia...

No problem, maybe you can provide some ideas if I continue from across America to around the world... defiantly want to stop somewhere in Australia.

The project halted when I had to reset my computer, planning on finishing it up in the next couple weeks.

Canada is great for flying lots of small airstrips that are hard to land at, nothing like flying in a blizzard ^^
