Spore bombs pretty hard. Besides the stupid DRM that makes you feel like you are just renting the game, the game was said to be dumbed down and boring. I will pass.

Overall, I was unimpressed. I had been waiting for quite a while for it as well, and in then end it amounted to about 8 hrs of game play, and that's playing through it twice... No real reason to play through it 3 times. Also, the DRM is ridiculous... I've heard plenty of backlash from the fans, so I think EA shot themselves in the foot, checked the barrel, and shot themselves in the face... They hyped this game way too early, and delayed it too long for stuff that didn't matter.

One can hope but I tend to think things won't work out like that. If anything, it'll only be more popular if it drops the DRM (which I would think they would for a wii game...). However, I could see this being fairly entertaining (as far as PC games go) on that console.

I think they will drop the DRM because I don't think it's even possible do DRM on the Wii.

You can install Spore on the same computer as long as you want. The limitation is if you install it on several computers.
The game itself is boring. Choose carnivore to win. If you choose Herbivore, make sure to be friend with everybody.
