Since we have been asked about the mod situation a lot lately, we wanted to address it in this thread.

We will be selecting new mods in the first week of June. If you are interested in becoming a mod, let us know. Also, have a certain forum in mind that you would like to moderate.

Here are the minimum requirements:

1. You must be a member of the forum for at least 3 weeks.
2. You must have at least 100 posts.
3. You need to come on the forum at least every other day. Of course, coming on the forum every day is best. In other words, we need mods who will constantly be on the site. We can't use mods who don't come on for days to weeks at a time.

Other things that we look for is helping other members, getting along with everybody, and coming up with ideas to improve the forum.

The number of mods we select depends on how many people fit the above criteria. We may add 5 mods in June or just 1.

Right now it is just myself and Aaddron. We have had other mods in the past though.

To answer a question by PM, mods will not start out moderating all forums like Aaddron has. Aaddron had to earn that right over many months.

The moderator or moderators we will choose will start in one forum. Then the chosen mods will get the responsibility of other forums in time if they moderate their one forum well.
