Guide to Posting Screen Shots

This guide will show you how to post your screen shots on GameOgre.com Forums.

NOTE:Mac users to "right click" hold the Control key (ctrl) and click

Step 1-Find a website that host pictures

For the sake of this guide we'll use flickr. Flickr is a photo sharing website that you can sign up and use free. Once you create an account click upload photo and follow the step by step process.

Checkpoint:At this point you should have created an account on flickr or an alternative photo sharing site and have your screen shot uploaded.

Step 2-Getting your screen shots URL

If you are using flickr and just uploaded you screenshot you should be at the Your photostream page it should look something like this:

Click on your screen shot and it will take you to a page with your photo. Right click the photo and on the list that comes up click Copy Image Location.

Checkpoint:At this point you should have gotten to your uploaded photo's page and right clicked it to bring up a list and on that list you clicked Copy Image Location.

Step 3-Posting you screen shot

Now to post a screen shot go to the appropriate thread(mini list below)and click Insert Image: once you click Insert Image a box like this will come up:

In the white box you can type in right click and once a list comes up click paste and then ok.

Now all you need to do is click Submit Reply and you will post your screen shot.

The threads listed are just the bragging threads (see this thread:Meetup and Bragging Threads). You can post screen shots in pretty much any thread you want as said in post below.

I agree. Its a great guide.

Yes, you can add game screenshots to pretty much any thread if you want. The bragging right thing is just for showing off your character in a particular game.
