Honestly i disagree very much with Weehut in your statement on CoD 4, and Battlefield's overall poor make. In fact, i find people who compare the two games to be utterly immature. It's like comparing Guild Wars to World of Warcraft: they are just too damn drastic to be able to compare.

Call of Duty 4 features a far faster pacing than Battlefield 2. This is due to small maps, very small amounts of health, fast re-spawn times, faster movement speed, etc. Because of this it features an entirely different form of strategy (one that generally involves NOT teamwork... way to go xbox live/ my stupid teammates on the PC version... with this is just most of the time)

Battlefield 2 boasts far slower gameplay because of its vast maps, slower running speeds, long re-spawn times (15 seconds will suddenly seem like 10 minutes), etc. When taking this into concept, the strategy becomes totally different. There's more room for movement, more ways to flank, etc. etc. causing a completely different style of play.

On top of these, it goes even deeper. Battlefield 2 has vehicles, something absent from CoD 4 (don't even mention the helicopter, seriously it's one of the worst implemented ideas, and don't mention CoD: WaW's totally O.P. tanks). Sniping is an entirely different process. In Battlefield you find yourself needing to think about bullet drop past 100 meters, a problem not present in CoD.

So to make a long story short, comparing CoD to BF is like comparing apples to oranges. Yes, they are both fruit (both modern based shooters), but ultimately everything about them is different.

The only way i can see battlefield getting completely decimated in this competition is simply lack of updating. There hasn't been a legitimate BF game in a long time now (BF:BC is NOT a legit BF game, nor will BF 1943). Because of this i can see many of the people judge a game on its "newness" (shiny graphics anyone?) and go for CoD 4.

Does this make CoD 4 a better game? Balls no, they are both amazing games in their own respect, and both deserve a solid place in gaming history.

I predict Left 4 Dead or Quake Live will win, not a BF game or CoD4. I know CoD4 won't win for a fact.

TF2 would be my third choice, then CS: Source.

I would hardly call that a "match" rofl. Warrock did not even get a total score of 1 .

Yea, was hoping to get a good solid matchup for the first one, but it didn't turn out that way. The forum voting is what made the match so lopsided.

I don't think that that will be a problem this week. Cross Fire and Counterstrike are tied.

Yes, this is a much closer match this time in both the forum and Review Directory voting.
