Combat Arms vs. War Rock

This is the first match of the Online Shooter Showdown. If a tiebreaker is not needed, voting for this match will end on March 14, 2009 at 12:01 AM Central.

Unlike MMORPG Showdown 3, voting in this thread will have a large say in determining the winning because each review score in the Review Directory will be multiplied by the percentage of votes received here. For example, a game that had a 9 in the Review Directory and won all of the votes here would have an overall score of 9. If a game had a 9 in the review directory but tied here, that game would have an overall score of 4.5 because it only won 50% of the vote. In the event of an overall tie, voting will be extended by one day.

Although I strongly dislike both of them, especially War Rock for the amount of hackers, War Rock is virtually unplayable for me because there are simply too many hackers.

I also dislike Combat Arms, but not as much because you can't keep the weapons for more than 90 days, and that takes a while to save up for. It MAKES you play the game more, which always gets me.

Both hacker infested games, but Combat Arms would have to take it because of the player base they built so fast.

Agreed... while Combat Arms has hackers too at least you can have decent matches without people flying around or dieing when you respawn.

Nice, my suggestion is first! I voted for Combat Arms cuz they are newer and I think too many peeps are tired of WarRock.

Hmm...

I do think it's true that Warrock is like an old hag right now, but it's also true that K2, the owner of WarRock, doesn't seem to care about the game, and are letting it slowly die.

Seriously now, they haven't done any major graphics overhaul, and I haven't seen any major changes in the game. It's like they just left it in the streets to die.

All Warrock has over CA is some veichles, which isen't really an advantage.

Warrock is dieing, nothing new has been done to it in recent years, while Combat Arms has alot of content updates, a new map almost every month and 1-2 weapons a month.

Like I said a weeks back, I didn't think War Rock would get too far. The way it is going so far, this match won't even be close.
