Aaaargh, tough choice! I went with DDO because it is free and more unique than LoTRO.

But the price should be an indicator of the games quality, if it isn't then there's something wrong.

You don't need to look at the price to tell whether a game is quality or not, you can see that from playing it for a while.

I am guessing that LoTRO has more players than DDO?? Other than that, I see DDO winning in the end because it is free.

I voted DDO, because it's classic and I found the gameplay much easier.
