My Gaming PC and Question about it!

    I've spent around 600$ more or less for this PC i was wondering can i upgrade it with some better graphics card like r9 390 or r9 290 or amd 7970.

    CPU: AMD FX 8300 Eight core @ 3.30Ghz
    RAM: 8gb 1600mhz
    GPU: R7 250 1gb
    HDD: 1 TB
    Power supply: 700W
    Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3

    If those graphics cant hold it tell me yours opinions which to take on this motherboard for better perfomance at next gen games.

    which one 290 4gb or 3908gb ? note that 8gb costs less than 4gb which is awkward

    I put the parts (roughly as they don't have the CPU but used one that should be the same power draw) into pcpartspicker and assuming the card fits your case it should work according to them. r9 390 is new so can't comment on that but I think r9 290 is better than 7970. Get the x version, 390x, 290x etc if possible. This site is great for video cards:

    It will be bottle neck on your processor if you buy R9 290 but I suggest change your processor to FX 8370 then buy R9 390x. Then your pc will be one damn hell of a good in Windows 10 direct x12
