What does your In-Game Name mean/where did you take it from?

My character name is Blue. I didn't really have much of an origin on the name other than choosing something unique and something I favored (like the color blue). Back in Tech Demo, I had the name Snowy, but I decided since there was going to be an entire wipe to start Alpha, I should choose a better name. So then I created a list of names, even suggesting new names for my Tech Demo buddies, and ultimately ended up choosing the name Blue.

 

Amethystlock, i got it while i was at a planetarium with my best friends. there was an amethyst-like thing in the gift shop that was shaped like a thick wand. i joked around with it and ended up buying it and it shouldn't have been hilarious and that's how i got my name. one of my best memories, whole day of freedom, first time watching 4d, a lot of firsts.

i learned later that amethyst comes from "amethustos" meaning non-drunken in greek, and lock is from the german word "loch" meaning hole. i think it means good tolerance

origin : my nicknames from aqw. My 14yo self hadn't realize how impractical it sounds back then. Yush grammar very rip much uhh ...

new nick : Provoke
origin : I need a new nicknames that is easy to remember but also has meaning. "Dont provoke me if you wont get roasted"

Well my name Was taken from this clash of clans clan name 'Noblesse' and I love being a 'noble' so combined and formed 'NoblesseNoble' and a month ago I got to know that there is an anime named Noblesse <,< /facepalm

 

I got the name from Aions Israphel/Lephar!!!

I decided to go with Caide due to its unique-ness and that its a homophone of my name and it tends to always be available no matter what game I play

I use to be the typical "Lord Darkness/Deathreaper/Doomking/Soultaker/" lol but that was back when i started playing videogames as I matured tho it just started to sound silly so I decided to just incorporate myself.

 

Very fascinating. I do indeed like a name without any single reference to movies or other genres. A name created just to represent who you are.

 

IGN is 123. When people ask me why I have that name, my answer is that I just smahed my head against my keyboard on character creation... and booom... 123!

Cool! In some South-European countries Chai is considered as tea.

 

While I was in the middle of doing one of the daily quests in the Underworld Gate, somebody PM'd me and said my name means tea in their language (Hindi, I believe)

 

Nevertheless it's still a cool name.
