Elite Ogre Medals

Ok, this will be a different medal. The only requirement for getting and keeping this medal is to be active in the latest Forum Event. By active, we are talking bout participants who make all the steady streaks i.e.members who claim items daily. However, what place you are in has no bearing on this medal.

What does matter is staying active, because this medal will be removed if you stop an event, take a break etc. It can only be held by those who are active in Events when they are active in them. In fact, you could win the Entire event but then "take a break" and you would lose the medal.



Extra Benefits:

1. Free "Elite Ogre" Title if you want it.
2. Can buy more than one item at a time in the shop.
3. After 3 months holding the medal, can buy a repeat AQ3D item.
4. Will double the point reward (only points) if the medal is kept throughout the whole Event.

This is the closest thing we will get to a new user group. The ones who participate in the big Events regularly deserve the extra recognition!

Going to start handing out more of these medals for the current event soon.

 

Currently only Iron Ogres can get repeat AQ3D items, but we may make it to where you can buy a repeat item if you have the Elite Ogre medal for one to two months. Will still need to consider it, but that could be a possibility.

New item:

3. After 3 months holding the medal, can buy a repeat AQ3D item.

 

Ok, this medal can be removed fast. If I give saves for not participating in the Event and even take the time to PM the person, that person should either participate with the bare minimum or lose the medal. After all, the entire medal is for participation in the Events.

Have told this story a few times by PM, but will say it here as well. Had one guy who did the bare minimum for years and did pretty good. He never did win anything, but by being steady he got a ton of stuff over the years! Think he spent like 5 minutes a day so its something to keep in mind if ever needed.

Although this should already be apparent, anybody who does not start the new Event will lose there Elite Ogre medal.

On the good side, double points were handed out last night to medal holders.

 

This can started being used now if held for 3 months or more. Also must still be participating in the Event as well.

An Elite Ogre that does not start the next Event will lose the medal. Sometimes I will PM the Elite Ogre, but its heading towards just removing the medal.


If removed, the medal can be regained by being active in the Event again.

May do something special with Elite Ogres and the Blue Ogre Foot potion.
