[Artix Entertainment] - Doing good?

    AE, game makers of many games like AQ, Dragonfable, Mechquest, and their newest one, AQ Worlds.

    A few years ago, I was super-duper addicted to this company but now, they are doing bad. They are making the worst events, items and making it like you woudln't survive the game without being a member.

    How, you ask?

    Well, the worst thing they do is make a "saga" of quests and when it's last quest, guess what pops up? Yup, the dreaded "members only" sign.

    This is the best way they make you really frustrated. And also, their modern talking style is really bad and not even close to us tweens and teens.

    So what do you think of this company?

    Think this would be better in the Free MMORPG forum. Best and Worst is mostly for lists like the Best Cartoon MMOs, the Worst Grind MMOs etc.

    Good thread though:).

    I think this kinda belongs here because it's talking about the games that AE makes and how it it's bad and good.

    I actually think that Adventurequest is doing really fine. Most of the time new events don't have members only at the end. The late Devourer Saga is HUGE, but I seem to remember the last bit isn't members only.

    Oh well, I've gotten bored of Adventurequest now, and I aren't playing the others because they are WORSE than Adventurequest

    Well what do you expect? Membership is a one time payment so they have to bring new members in often, and saga quests look impressive.

    And It's not like it needs a very large budget, hell I designed a weapon for a contest and it got implemented, and i'm not that good with flash.

    I woudln't say the game is really, really bad. I'm trying to say they are making the game really unfair for non-members.

    Well no duh, with a one time payment, you have to get as many members as possible.

    If the game was fair for non-members, no one would be a member which means the game goes splash.

    If non-members had an advantage, there wouldn't be a membership, and if there's no membership, there would be an Artix, and if there wasn't an Artix, we wouldn't be haveing this conversation.
