    4GB minimum, 8GB recommended, 16GB is ideal. Anything above that is largely unnecessary for gaming at this time but it never hurts to have more ram. For gaming, always split the ram. So for 8GB get two 4GB instead of one 8GB.

    i have 8gb ram someone i know who's computer-smart put in another 4gb, but i can't run nvidia gtx so without that i don't run much ram at all. well the only game i'd play to begin with is aq3d, but if i could run nvidia gtx i'd get mass effect andromeda and 8gb ram is the system requirement

    Nvidia GTX is a graphics card line. You don't need Nvidia GTX to play Mass Effect Andromeda, you need a GPU strong enough to play it which could be a Nvidia GTX card or AMD RX card.

    8gb RAM is the lowest I'd go, if you have good specs I highly recommend 16. I personally got a deal where it was 32 for the price of 16, and it doesn't change anything. Don't bother going over.

    It depends mostly on performance you want to get: 4 GB of RAM to just run games decently, 8 GB of RAM to run most of the games smoothly and 16 GB of RAM if you want to basically run any game without problems.
