I tottaly agree..
I wish all the awesome 3-D MMORPGs weren't download...
I don't think you have to pay because its boring...
I'll have to try it. Maybe it'll capture my attention for longer than a week.
I can't pick a fave...
Latest to impress me was AIKA, honestly... the relic war is an epic idea and does make you want to lvl up as fast as possible so that you can join. Also, the cute pran u get to grow up and talk to when least expected is also a nice addition to games.
I never had a pet that wanted to talk to me, not to mention one with an attitude. XD Makes the gameplay so much fun!
The minus would be the cash shop timed items... you get to buy, with real money, stuff that only last you for like... a month? That sucks.
Perfect World is also a nice game. U can buy chash shop currency with ingame coins, at a certain price, which makes it far more free to play than other games. ^^ There is also the character customization and the variety of classes (2 more to come soon) that make pvp far more interesting. When I first played it, it had everything I liked about mmorpgs: awesome jumps, flying and cute characters. (yes, I am an appeareance freak XD... and yes, I do play venomancer mainly because of the tail, ears and ordering pets around)
Allods online... I only played it as a beta tester, but it had this amazing movie-related-game appearance and a lot of new things, like the empire classes. A whole city would be your hunting ground, which was new to me... again, I admit I was taken by the summoner class, that had this epic bone scorp that could tank far better than a pet. XD
and the list could go on... XD
It's currently in the beta stage, but I'm going to nominate Mythos... But I'm kind of a Diablo whore, so it would make since that I would make this call.
been playing Runes of Magic, PWI, Cabal, most your good games are not going to be f2p only p2p
Hmm Champions online and DDO..?
forsaken world is a great game
I don't think I will try it. does not look that fun
I heavily disagree
While it's a great game in options
it's chat is heavily influenced by maplestory
it's controls are awesome giving you the ability to jump
but the problem is that every "ranged" class isn't really ranged but a char that uses projectiles to reeling enemies
also the map interface is horrible!
the map shows nothing except for npcs
i would also like to nominate Rohan Blood feud
and if you quote me just to say tl:dr.... that's pointless
LoTRO since they made it free a few months ago, I think they also made EQ2 free but I'm not 100% sure. Aside from those two I'd have to go with.... hmmm Runescape.
i like knight online
Hey I was wondering, what is the best Free2Play MMORPG?
I have played WoW for sometime, and it is awesome, but the $15 monthly fee is a bit too much.
The only Free2Play MMORPG's that I have played are MapleStory, Runes of Magic and 4Story, but they do not even compare with WoW (except, maybe Runes of Magic. MapleStory is more casual).
Could anyone please tell me some good free MMORPG's that is similar to WoW?
Thanks in advance
CABAl The Best MMORPG
Well, comparing other MMO's to WoW isn't fair IMHO since its a very famous game..
but here's a few F2P games that I play and suggest to people...the only possible WoW-like MMO on my list would be Dragon Nest [I think...]
Well, here's a few games that I play and that i've been suggesting to people looking for new MMO's..
~ Uncharted Waters Online = Nautical RPG
~ Mini Fighter = side scrolling beat 'em up RPG
~ Dragon Nest = new action MMO
~ Cosmic Break = Mecha FPS
sorry if this feels like a copy-paste eheh..at least my suggestion posts have uniformity xD
There are plenty good F2P MMOs.
APB Reloaded = GTA in MMO
Dragon Nest = Like Magnus said, it's a quite good game. At the early levels it's really low in actions, but after the class change it becomes really adventurous, and brings fast-paced action.
Lunia = Manga-like action 2.5D MMORPG. It's not a big deal, but I liked it
Vindictus = I think, nowadays it's the best F2P MMO. Like Dragon Nest, it's an action MMORPG, but I think Vindictus is a little bit better.
thanks. vinductus and dragon nest all sound really good. ill try them out sometime (soon, hopefully)
In my opionion this would be Twelve Sky 2. It's from AeriaGames. It's an asian style mmorpg with alot of levels which aren't too easy to pass through. The community there is really good and I found there a lot of friends.
