If we wanna get really technical old MOBAs do exist but lets be real. This genre is not old at all. I mean if anything only one "old" MOBA even exists at this point an that's DotA. Considering even it is still being played today I can't say this question can really be answered at this time. MOBAs as a whole really aren't even a decade old yet.
