    A couple episodes ago it was looking good with Gildarts fighting someone who was a good match for him.
    After that they went too far into a background story which really isn't needed for a filler since afterwards it won't have any effect on the main story.

    This filler arc is needed to give the author more time to write more chapters. The filler should last until FT has another arc after the tournament arc.

    I watch Fairy Tail and likes it pretty much.
    But to be honest, I didn't like the latest episodes.. Pretty boring according to me
