Are there any MMORPG's that let players build/have houses that are totally free. I know players can have houses in Runescape but it's only for paying members. Are there any where you can do it without paying anything? It has to have graphics (no text only games). Prefer no download or minimal system requirements. Thanks.

    Summary:
    • MMORPG with player housing
    • Free to play and free to access player housing
    • 2-D through 3-D graphics
    • No download or minimal system requirements

I've played Free Realms before but it was quite a while ago so they hadn't implemented housing yet. It might be worth revisiting to see what they've added since I last played. Thanks.

You could try Neverdaunt 8Bit, it's free, but it's in beta, so there will be more stuff in it later.

Yeah, but Free Realms is hardly free, anymore. But if you have a good comp and don't mind a monthly fee (which you do mind that), it's a great mixed bag game.

Smallworlds.com has houses that are very editable. You can even make keypads with passwords to open doors, flashy lights, ect.

It's mostly social though, not much fighting monsters or stuff like that.
Graphics are 2.5D as it is usually called.
