    Not surprising, I think these MMOs are finally realizing $15 a month is too much, it's fine for one maybe two games but who's gonna pay it 3x to play three different games, not enough gamers to support all these games. Only the top MMOs can be $15 a month and make a nice profit, everyone else needs to be real and charge less or adopted a F2P model... although I'm not a big fan of these hybrids, as they are becoming the new F2P except most are way to limited and again not good enough to justify $15 a month.

    Edit: Note I'm not trying to say HoN isn't worth $15 a month.

    I think they were forced to make this move, first they lowered the price from 30$ to 10$ and the sale didn't went that well. League of Legends recently announced that they have 15 million account around the world and 8 million players who log in every day. So i bet many of them who maybe though to play HoN decided to play LoL instead because it's completely free and i must say, probably the best game if it's genre. I'm downloading the game right now, i'm really curious how it will work out.
    They also kinda stole the idea of free champions every week from LoL :)

    The industry is changing, F2P games are pretty good these days and they are filling every genre, you really have to put out a good game to charge a monthly fee for it otherwise you wont be able to compete with a current or future free alternative. Hopefully this change gives HoN a nice boost, competition is good for us the consumers.

    Yes, i agree, even the beast in games world wont be subscription based [Guild Wars 2] and that really tells us much about the current situation on the market :)
    I bet LoL will hurry up with their new maps and stuff now :)

    LoL is like 15 times better game then HoN, and every1 who played LoL more then 10 mins know that :)
    HoN is the copy of DoTA with better graphics and bad gameplay :)

    hay i played more than 3 hours of LoL and still think HoN is better the games are almost exactly alike just that some heroes are different....I hate LoLs cartoony graphics...and the gameplay isn't bad whats bad about it? and LoL is also a copy of dota BTW!

    LoL has nothing to do with dota except it's a moba style game :)

    I bet you played 2 champs max, and graphics aren't the best but you try putting them on high quality ingame, which is disabled when u just install the game untill you change it.

    You are just a hater, that's why you can't see it clearly :)

    like your not a hater! you didn't even try B!H and you said you would delete it before you played it >.>

    and also i played a few matches on my friends accounts and i got bored coz everthing is slower than HoN and also i have 20-20 vision xD

    lol ins't slower it just gives players time on start
    LoL 5v5 match takes 30-40 min, in HoN it takes 1 - 1:30 hrs .....
