leona or thresh

both have hard initiates, just different styles. Leo goes to them and then starts the cc which in turn requires the team to go in (aka follow up), while thresh pulls one of them into ur team, or keeps him into one spot while ur team snipes the unfortunate hook victim.

truth be told both are good, and they both do the same job equally good just in different ways.

leo is "im tank and im pulling everything" kind of support while thresh is "ima poke u with my hook and when ur low enough ima come in and smack u on the head" kind of support.

depends on your playstyle and ur team comp.

low/no cc -> leo
moderate cc (slows, knocks etc) -> thresh

 

Thresh's hook is really annoying and sometimes really hard to do, because it takes 1 second to throw hook, animation is really slow, but Thresh has that W that can always help in gank situations etc.
While Leona is CC-Machine, and she cant bring anything bad to the team
Both are good, but Leona kinda feels better to play with..

Both, they are best supports in Lol, in my opinion buy Leona because Q and R, and when she is tanky she is hard to kill

Both supports are in god tier as I can say. So the only reason that you can judge is do you want to play champ that has higher skillcap and that is Thresh at this point or maybe Leona that you can master more quicker. The decision is yours!

Leona is very tanky and hard to kill......put she's nothing without cooldowns
Thresh isn't so tanky at al....but you can build him...if you just hook someone its your choice if it is "have mercy for another time" or "kill the target" but always hook with teammates near if late game

 

Thresh is better because of longer range

Im a silver I support player and i main both tresh and leona but i want ur oppinion wich is better

 

Thresh vs leona is not a hard matchup. Hit her as often as you can with autoattacks. If she goes in with her E, use flay to interrupt it. This way you can keep her zoned off your adc. Your autoattacks deal a lot of damage, so after a few levels you will force her to play passive.

 

Thresh is better than leona because of his range and he can counter her E with his E
