    I've been looking around for a role playing game where you actually role play, but since ever damn game out there with quests exp and levels claims to be a rpg, I haven't had any luck so far..

    So if anyone knows about a true role playing game please point it out for me. I would greatly appreciate it.

    well on the computer i have several suggestions

    never winter knights
    baulders gate shadows of amn
    and diablo 2
    world of warcraft is nice to play with friends but expencive

    those are computer games

    if ur into real gaming: dice and books look for dungeons and dragons (aka) D&D
    its a book and dice roleplaying game that has maximum playing levels

    but it is not electronic and requires 2 players preferably 3 or 4

    NWN 1 is poor, and I need pixel shade 2.0 to play NWN 2
    BG 1 TotSC & BG 2 ToB is poorly in multiplayer
    Diablo 2 has nothing to do with role playing.
    Nether do WoW.

    I'm already playing Pen & Paper with some of my friends. Star wars D20 and D&D 3.5

    I've tried out DDO but it didn't seem to have any roleplayers there.. Plus I could barely run it on my computer.

    I have star wars galaxies but my computer is too slow :(

    True but again, my computer can't handle it.. plus I was looking for a mmo not singleplayer.. But you're right Dragon Age is quite awesome..

    Your gonna find that MMO's wont give you a true RPG experience... vary few if any will.

    Oblivion, Morrowind, Torchlight(although a lot like Diablo), Two Worlds, RuneScape if you don't mind the clicking, Fallout 3(probably wont run on your computer)

    It may not be exactly what you are looking for but have you tried Ryzom? The community there roleplays with their characters. I mean, there are still quests and everything, and it is an MMO, but it has people who are willing to roleplay.

    If you want a pure hardcore role-playing game you may have to play the MUDs by IronRealms which are Achaea, Aetolia, Imperian, Lusternia and Midkemia online. I'm currently playing Midkemia because its based on the books by Raymond E. Feist, which are great. Role-playing in those MUDs is actually a rule, your not allowed to mention computers or anything that wouldnt exist in a fantasy world.

    Well as far as Role Playing with Friends goes, I say Second Life and Red Light center may work for you..They are virtual lives in the computer world..Some MMORPG games have role playing servers on them, but they only work well if every single player follows the rules and Role plays there character, which rarely happens in MMORPG's.

    why you just don't look through some sites to find a right game for you and after it make up your decision. Game like a clothes need to try before buy.
