Manga subforum name

    Hey there boys and girls, as you all know this forum is currently called the "Manga Forum". That's all well and good, there's certainly manga-related discussion that goes on, but most of the discussion, by and large, is anime-specific. With that in mind, I'd like to propose the renaming of this subforum to "Anime and Manga Forum", partly in keeping with the name of the trivia in this section and partly because having both reminds people that you can totally discuss both. I'll put the option on the poll for just calling it "Anime Forum" as well, but totally don't vote for that one, vote "Anime and Manga Forum".

    I think it's a good idea, they are both being posted here anyways and it'd be kinda silly if they were separate since Manga and Anime are so closely tied. Besides that, the description already promotes posting both so it'd just basically be a cosmetic change anyways. I don't see any downside and it makes a lot of sense. Voted.

    I'd veto that cemex, there's not really a level of content to need a split, and as so many anime and manga have adaptations in the other form they're permanently linked. Keeping them together is for the best.

    I mean, otherwise if they were separate, what if I was discussing Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and wanted to talk about the differences between the anime and the manga. What forum would a thread like that go in?

    I do agree with the name change though. As for creating a seperate forum for each section, that would just be unnecessary. Anime and manga is similar in incredibly many ways and the only real difference is that one is animated shows and the others are readable comics (although I feel like they are more than that xD).

    A lot more content would be needed for a split or even this section getting a full forum:). It has actually happened before with another forum, so it is possible if it did pick up a lot in activity.

    So far it looks like Anime and Manga Forum will be the new name:).
