    not taking console into account.
    both great franchises, COD followed its already sucessful series with the revolutionary COD4 - battlefield has the legendary original battlefield 2 and BFBC2 has outstepped MW2 on the PC in terms of game play/replay value. MW2 campaign was alright, but it was short and MW2's default price is higher. Don't even get me started about dedicated servers- honestly it's not that bad, but YES there is a noticeable difference and dedicated servers kick much more butt.

    Battlefield, hands down. The reason would be because how they always try to step up their game, and a perfect example of this is the frostbite 2 engine for battlefield 3 ^.^
