    Perfect World Entertainment Inc., a wholly owned US subsidiary of Perfect World Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: PWRD), today announced the results of its second annual Jade Dynasty Global PVP Tournament. The competition featured teams from eight countries, all consisting of 20 players to each team, making this one of the largest events in Perfect World Entertainment's history. The tournament was so large that it was held in the 2008 Beijing Olympics Badminton Arena, in order to fit the volume of players and spectators in attendance.
    Like last year's tournament, Team Legacy shocked the competition by placing second, against some of the greatest Jade Dynasty players from around the world. In the end, the team that came out of the tournament triumphant was Team China - a veteran team that was created from an applicant pool of hundreds of thousands of players, that participated in micro-tournaments over the course of 10 weeks.
    "We're proud of Team Legacy's performance in this year's Jade Dynasty Global PvP Tournament for making it to the finals by besting some of the most skilled teams from around the world, including Team Japan, which was favored to compete for this year's title," said Dean Sakurai, Product Manager for Jade Dynasty. "With this second place victory, it proves that last year's third place results were not a fluke, and it cements the team's reputation as one that should not be taken lightly. Next year, we look forward to bringing home the gold."
    "It's hard to explain how gratifying it feels to have been a part of such a great team," stated the Team Legacy Captain, Bayu Seno. "We faced off against some tough competitors, but, in the end, we played our hardest and did better than anyone was expecting. Many thanks to China for being such great sports, and for showing us that we still had some practicing to do for next year's tournament."
    The scores for all the matches Team Legacy participated in are as follows:
    * USA versus Japan - 72:65
    * USA versus Russia - 222:65
    * USA versus China - 96:177
    Prizes were rewarded to all of the teams that participated, such as high-end gaming gear from Razor for the winners, virtual Jade Dynasty prizes for the runners up, and server bonuses for all players who competed.
