Offering power to the players with community orientated game development.

Hull, UK/ Wonderfully named game developer and publisher The Bearded Ladies Consulting is pushing community involvement to a whole new level in 2011 thanks to Gamocracy, their brand new player-orientated game development initiative.

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at game design? Well now you can! Swedish-based The Bearded Ladies, best known for PlayStation®Network casual helicopter sim Landit Bandit, is readying the launch of Gamocracy, a brand new initiative that will allow anybody and everybody interested in gaming to pitch in and vote on design ideas for their upcoming game.

After launching the PlayStation®3 title Landit Bandit and now Pipe Madness on minis, The Bearded Ladies Consulting has decided to create the world's first truly democratic minis game for PS3™ and PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) – designed by gamers, for gamers.

This new project, Gamocracy will guarantee that players are involved in many of the key game design areas, meaning that anyone can help create and play the game they’ve always wanted to play!

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and The Bearded Ladies Consulting will be revealing more details on Gamocracy later this week, so follow us on the official PlayStation Forums at community.eu.playstation.com, on PlayStation.Blog at blog.eu.playstation.com and at facebook.com/TheBeardedLadies as we launch on 18 February 2011.
