    Would probably agree with some Mario game taking the #1 spot, maybe the original Super Mario Bros. as the game did revive the video game industry after the crash.

    Second spot would probably belong to The Legend of Zelda as the series is one of the highest acclaimed on review sites like Metacritic.

    Third to tenth spot will probably vary a lot more, but would definitely include Sonic (best game on SEGA and the rival to Mario games), Pokemon (highest-grossing media franchise), and Tetris (the most officially ported game -- DOOM doesn't count).
