    If they fought who do you think would win...I personally think Itachi would because of Totsuka blade which can seal anything it touches...

    Madara would won with martial arts and ninjutsu also Madara has Rinnegan and Sharingan so genjutsu and ninjutsu doesn't work aganst him.
    Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan would have no effects aganst Madara's Susanoo.
    Also Madara's regeneration is far greater than Itachi so just it would be matter of time until Itachi wear off I think or Madara would just crush Itachi.

    I think Itachi is cool and strong but I don't think Itachi can stand aganst Madara.

    Who knows Itachi could do Izanami that forbiden genjutsu is overpowered also Itachi's totsuka blade just needs to touch you and you will be sealed away

    I like both, character and power wise.
    In a serious match I think Itachi would give more resistance than most of the other characters could, but still Madara wins.

    I think itachi is the strongest ninja because he has a real human body that has special abilities, while the madara is strong because he is not a normal human being.
