What is yours Preferred Payment Model?
Free-to-Play of course
Free to play, but the way PWE does it. Where you can use ingame money to buy items from the cash shop and the cash shop items are tradable making it truly free to play.
Kingdom of Loathing is like that too
Yeah there are a few games that do it that way now. I have played a bunch though where you could only buy items in the cash shop with real life money and where items from the cash shop weren't tradable among players. So you had no choice but to spend cash yourself if you wanted something from the CS. Im not a huge fan of that type of free to play.
You are missing both microtransactions (pay to unlock an area at a time, for example) and cash shop prevalent games...games with cash shops with small bonuses fit into the F2P section (like KoL), but some nearly require you to use the shop to succeed.
Free to play for the win!
I would be shocked if free to play was not in the lead.
F2P if that includes everything
Buying items in game I don't mind.
f2p all the way. the f2p/p2p subscription hybrid (mispelled?) can be very limited
Buy to Play just leads to piracy/hacking.
I'll go with F2P but with microtransactions.
and Gold Farmers should all be shot. They really make me mad. Needless SPAM in game.
F2P limited, not to limited though. with a p2p option for if you really like the game.
B2P is beating the F2P/P2P hybrid? Surprising!
F2P all the way!
Free to play all the way. Hey, that rhymes.
Free to play
Free to play ....
Free-to-Play of course lol
Free to play definitely for me, with buy to play coming in second, as it's a one time only payment and allows the same chances for everyone. Subscriptions offer that too but can get way too expensive, and hybrids are the worst since they are expensive and unfair at the same time
