I don't know much about this game right now other than its made by Outspark and that there is snowboarding in the game.

Global warming melted Earth's polar ice caps long ago and winter is a thing of the past. No snow in
over a century meant snowboarding was but a distant memory. Motivated to change these circumstances,
we began Project Powder.
Our desire to return to that sublime snow was all-consuming, but we had nowhere to go. Until now.
The Warp Gate, an ingenious interstellar creation, has enabled us to travel to previously inaccessible
points in the galaxy. Virgin planets blanketed in pristine powder beckon as we prepare to embark on
the most thrilling snowboarding adventure of our lives.
We, the new generation of riders, compete to make our mark with amazing tricks in these uncharted
territories. Join us - Max, Beth and Ross - as we launch our way through the Warp Gates and shred
the epic, untouched powder. Amazing prizes are at stake. Do you have what it takes to hang?

Right now its 4 days to closed beta so I'll update this thread as they release more information.

I got into closed beta which will begin in 3 days. This is some of the information that I got in the email:

Features:
-33 monster courses
-3 challenging game modes
-Intense multiplayer action
-Premium gear including new snowboards, clothing and accessories
-Dozens of unlockable tricks

SYSTEM MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
OS- Windows XP
CPU- Intel Pentium IV 1.6GHz or equivalent
RAM- 512MB
HD Space- 1GB
Graphic Card- Geforce 4 mx 440 / ATI Radeon 8500
DirectX- DirectX 9.0c or higher

CBT started today but only about 5 people got in to the game because of problems with the launcher that should be fixed by tomorrow.

I finally got to play the game:

There is 3 Modes:

Race
Battle
Coin collector

All of these modes can be played everyman for them self or team.

Race- is straight forward first to the bottom wins.

Battle-is like race but you have item that can hit other players and protect you from items. You get items from ice boxes that are placed on sections of the tracks. Again the goal is to be the first to the bottom.

Coin collector-is again a race to the bottom but you want to have the most coin when you reach the bottom. Coins are spread out all over down the course. Some coins get you point and some can take them away.There is also bunny looking things that get you a random item's.

So far I think there is 6 tracks. You can play these 6 tracks in mirror mode which everything is reversed or just normal. One of the tracks you start snowboarding on grass then end up on snow about a quarter of the way down the track.

As you level up you unlock new tricks. You can get these tricks by going to the trick list and completing the challenge for the trick.

You earn money for each race you complete which can be used to buy guilds,new gear,boards,and others things.

cool, did u like closed beta? how long did u stick with it?

Closed beta was awesome and I played it through CB 1 and 2 but I might not continue in open beta so I can play other games I'm not the biggest snowboard fan.

It's a pretty good game, I was in the CBT and it had some bugs like Racers Starting off too early before any of the other Snowboarders but they got that fixed i think. Overall it was fun, challenging, and you could customize your Boarder with clothes,tricks, and lil' gems to increase the power of your gear. But I never got the chance to do the Shop that was closed during CBT.
