End-game content
Hi everyone,
I used to play WoW a while back (pre-TBC) and spent most of my time at 60 raiding because I didn't feel like there was a lot else to do, and I had the time to spare. It was definitely fun but one of the reasons I left was because of the huge time sink that was required to raid and be a part of a raiding guild.
I really liked WoW and from what I've read it seems like there's a lot more options now for people who don't want to or don't have time to go on big raids. So how would you all characterize the end-game content? I believe that they cut out 40-man raids and so its down to 10/25 right? Are there a number 5-man instances for lvl80's? Are the 10-man raids more reasonable in time (ie 2-3 hours rather than 4-5+)? Basically I no longer have the time to devote to playing and raiding like I used to but if I start up again I'd like to know that once I get to the cap there will be things I can do in smaller groups which won't be as time intensive as bigger raids used to be.
I realize that not going on larger raids will of course mean I won't have access to the best of the best items, but if there are smaller, less time consuming raids/instances which have good stuff then I'd be happy with that.
