Tremulous is a free, open source game that blends a team based FPS with elements of an RTS. Players can choose from 2 unique races, aliens and humans. Players on both teams are able to build working structures in-game like an RTS. These structures provide many functions, the most important being spawning. The designated builders must ensure there are spawn structures or other players will not be able to rejoin the game after death. Other structures provide automated base defense (to some degree), healing functions and much more...
Player advancement is different depending on which team you are on. As a human, players are rewarded with credits for each alien kill. These credits may be used to purchase new weapons and upgrades from the 'Armoury'. The alien team advances quite differently. Upon killing a human foe, the alien is able to evolve into a new class. The more kills gained the more powerful the classes available.
The overall objective behind Tremulous is to eliminate the opposing team. This is achieved by not only killing the opposing players but also removing their ability to respawn by destroying their spawn structures.

Most of those warriors who directly faced the armies of the Burning Hells -- and were fortunate enough to survive -- went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.
Diablo III will be a fitting sequel to Diablo II, with the easy interface, fast-paced action, and visceral gameplay that Diablo players have come to expect and enjoy. It will also include many new features that will take the Diablo action-RPG experience to the next level. Like any MMOFPS, in this game, you run around on a chosen map and shoot down other players like any other MMOFPS, and the game plays a lot like Counterstrike, but there are two things that make it unique. One is the gun customizability, every weapon costs Weapon Points, or WP, which you can earn from battles, or you can even earn them from picking your Basic Weapon Configuration, which means even if you don't kill anyone, you can work your WPs up anyway! Every single gun also has four upgrades, which gives the game even more customizability! The other unique thing is what gives this game its name, many MMOFPSs have knives as a melee weapon, but this game replaces knives with the ability to transform into a werewolf! As a werewolf you use your claws as weapons, which are very powerful, two swipes of your claws will kill any player, being a werewolf also gives you an extra 99.

In Hyperiums, there are two ways to conquer a planet: a soft one, and a brutal one. The soft way is by progressively infiltrating the target planet, until it falls under your control.
