Comment: FlyFF of Fly for fun is a different MMORPG where flying on brooms and boards are just a part of the fun. Interesting vibrant colors create a whole new world as the player goes through many class choices. they can choose between four beginning classes (Mage,Assist,Mercenary,Ranger) these three classes separate into 6 different classes toward higher levels. 2 for each primary class. this creates more variety which keeps the game going. Most players are friendly and will help you start out. It is a GREAT GAME, but very addictive if you can get a charachter to level 60 I PROMISE you will give this game a review of 10/10 I have....

Comment: Flying, PvPing, leveling, pet taming, communicating, exploring, boss hunting, fighting ClockWorks/Red meteo, buying armors and weapons off people to increase your strengh, building up the perfect build for your class, customizing your character with CashShop items (don't necessarily buy them yourself from the CashShop, but can buy them off people also with Penya), are the amazing aspects of the game, FlyFF.
I give this game a 10 for its updates, community, unique gameplay (not another medieval game), graphics, and much more!
The only downfall in this game, in my opinion, is that there should be an easier way to upgrade higher than +3 other than relying on gpotato items that cost alot ingame (with Penya). Other than that, this game is totally worth it.
You'll notice that most of the negative reviews come from people that don't know much from the game and that have spent about 5 hours on the game or 10 trying to do stuff an informed person would achieve in 2 hours. (You can't really judge this game until you're level 60 at least, and I guarantee you'll love it at 75. ^^)

Comment: I'm not exactly sure what people see in this game... Maybe.. Just maybe I didn't play enough, but I have a level 24 or 25 mercenary and there didn't seem to be very many quests. Well at least there didn't seem to be any quests that were fun. Most of the time I was just grinding... The graphics are all right but nothing special. I didn't listen to much music in the game but from what I heard it wasn't exciting. One of my friends was constantly talking about this game for about a year. He said it was so damn epic and awesome. When I played I decided to at least get to level 20 and try flying. It's not very exciting. You can kill stuff while you fly but it's just fuckin' hard. Mainly because you have to fly beside a monster, stop and hope it doesn't move, then hit it. The community is okay... There is, of course some annoying, idiotic people in the game and some nice people who will help you. Over all it's an average game. Maybe I didn't play enough, but I didn't really want to play more, since I found it boring. Give it a try, at least get to level 15 - 20 before you decide anything. 6/10

Comment: ok for starters this game is fun i have a lvl 65 rm (ring master) a lvl 68 knight and a bunch of lvl 20+ characters i dont like lvling because it gets boreing after awhile so i manly hang out in the arena with my friends. In this game the people here are cool some of them are ******* but if u ignore them then u can manage 2 stay the graphics are cool a bit scary at first but after awhile its cool i never heard the background music because i have my ipod on everytime i play. The guilds are pretty cool i am in a guild at the moment i cant remember the name though so sorry. The npc shops i hate because they have a tax thingy on them now so dont get mad at the GM get mad at the Guild that put the prices of the npc shop iteams that high. Every thing in this game is manly cash shop related but players sell those iteams for a pretty penny in the game so if i was u i would do the quest earn the money grind but grind with poeple not by your self and of course u should hang out with people in the arena. So i am going to give this game a 10/10 because it rocks to me. And if u think that this game runs 2 slow or the download is taking to long get a better computer or motom.

Comment: One great game. It"s annoying at first, they stab you with not much penya from monsters, but when you fight higher lvl monsters...YEAH LOTS OF MONEY! But it"s great so here goes:
Graphics: 8/10: Some people quit immediately when they see the cute 3D anime graphics. They just flip out. However, you get used to them. If you have a nice computer, that really helps. It"s sickening at first, but you get used to them. And there"s the details. Yess.
Gameplay: 10/10: There is tons of things to do right after you hit lvl 20! Fly on your broom/board to unexplored lands, shout out something etc. You can do much much more!
Economy: 9/10: Things because ridiculously expensive after your vagrant time. But the game solves that, you gradually get 6 penya each monster to 1000 penya each monster!
Community: 11/10!: People on here are very nice. They"ll come up to you like a beggar but just ask you "Do you want to join my guild?" "Want to join my party?"
"Need a plvler?" "Can you plvl me?" "Can you help?" "Want to help me grind?" "Want this for that?" and so on. And everyone is amazingly careless about what you believe in, the color of your skin, your age, whatever. They"re just there to have fun like you.
Music: 8/10: Annoying after a while, but when you find the music on/off button...
pvp: 9/10: Unlike some games they have two servers where you can PVP. PVP isn"t my thing, they do have an arena, but I can"t tell much.
lvling: 1000/10: Oh my god where to begin...It"s so easy to level until about 50! You can kill some monsters about 4 levels above you and ZOOM you"re to lvl 60 and your third job in no time!
Overall: 10/10, this game is worth the hour long download. will last you 10 years guaranteed :D

Comment: Don't get me wrong, i love this game but there are many bad points to outwiegh the good.
First of all, the translation is amazingly bad.
Sometimes you get messages on your screen which make no sense whatsoever because of this. (this makes me want to offer my help just to translate it for FREE!!)
The point and click to kill and move is rather annoying.
They both tie in together being as you click to kill something but, WAIT you just clicked behind it and are now walking past it.
but you have the option to hold CTRL+CLICK to attack for a little more ease, still annoying though.
I would like to see dual mouse button to walk around using Right button for camera and holding Left to move etc, but, however if you do this you get this take 2 steps then jump in the air and stop moving motion.
Another of the main bad points is the new era of having to use the Cash Shop to play the game to its full extent.
If you dont have the credit card/money to buy GPotatoes, then getting to a high level and being a good high level are really hard.
My last point is something which is somewhat personal, if you are english, finding more english people is a HUGE TASK.
and when you do, it turns out he/she is like 11 years old and is either really annoying or has the vocabulary of a german/swede/pole.
APART FROM THIS XD...
Great fun game,
Loads of great people to meet,
Great skill system (despite what other people have said: i started a magician, and they have plenty of skills to choose from.)
PETS!!! and plenty of them which give you extra benefits such as added INT or DEX etc.
and last but not least the thing i like in a game is UPDATES!!!
They do great updates ranging from XP events to Premium box events(the latest good one :P) and even extra Attack Power events.

Comment: This game is probably no better then most. i played the first version of it then lost internet for about 2-3 years and went back to it, it had changed alot since i had last played it. but in my recent playings i created a new character, got to lvl 15, changed my job class. got to lvl 60, changed it again and i am currently a lvl 67 blade all in no less then a month. i tend to solo but i make good exp. (exp is slower when soloing) its not really hard to get to lvl 60. you just have to know what your doing. also there are a few nice people in the game. i tend to only hang around them and am one. i would be willing to give away very expensive items to starting out noobs. my guild is mostly the same way seeing as how most of my equips are gifts from them.
if you have/had a bad time playing this game then i am sorry and hope you find one you like better. dont just look at the bad qualitys look at the good too. also most all MMORPG are point and click killing games where the point is to become a higher lvl and gain skills. but you cannot forget the Master quest and the Hero Quest in this game. Comment: This game is ok i play this game mostly to kill time, the one thing i don't like is wondering if my account is going to get hacked.
I met players that clam that they got hacked and send an email letting them know what have happen to there account.I hear the same the GM(GameMasters) Didn't do anything about it! Your char do not exist end of story.I haven't heard anything good when you lose your account, so far it seem you lose it for good.Two players was good customers i mean shouldn't they have there payments on what they bought and think they should do something? Like i don't know give him a new high lvl char or something?or the things he bought even though he might have use them already but he did just get hacked.
anyways these are stories from players i met and quit they didn't want to play and try to reach lvl 92/105 again.They should have a better Hacking system.
This is a good Team Effort Game and there's many things that have a change like many "not so nice players". I don't play a lot i do have a life but i do have some high lvl chars i play with sometimes for me is hard to find someone that can help my low lvl chars to lvl up. Some people can make friends easy some cant, nice players for me anyways are hard to find but they are out there.

Comment: I remember playing flyff about a year ago, i played for around a month, on and off and got to a level around the late 20s region. after playing alot of the free mmo's on the current market i am tempted to make a return to this. What this game is, is a giant hurdle, by which i mean the tutorial - there isnt one. However what lies after this is a community like no other, imagine runescape's community, turned completly on its head. Everyone i met in flyff seemed very, very polite and helpful. I even found that after a week i had about 20 people on my friends list. This is very uncommon in a free mmo. The graphics arnt much to look at, high detail looks the same as low detail in general. Character models are quite well done, although the outcome looks like a korean schoolboy (intended?). The sound most people found annoying, for me i just found it a little plain but not unbearable. The gameplay is basically grinding, aiding by some generous quests and an exellent party-levelling feature which awards people who stick together with more xp. The quests in general are kill X and fetch X. Strangly i found some of the stories a little inspiring, although i was high on caffeine and at early hours. The lifespan for me was sadly only a month. I what you would call a spoilt batch in the mmo genre, i tend to judge every game against WoW, regardless of whether it is free or not. In conclusion this is no wow beater, but it is a maplestory better thats for sure.

Comment: I love this game. It's doing well right now, except for the high economy level, whitch I hate.
Graphics: 9/10 They are adorable and anime-like, and I love how the environment changes to the season.
Gameplay: 10/10!! It's amazing! There are many skills, and alot of them you don't have in other games, such as that skill on acrobats where you can steal money from your opponent. Theres a lot of stuff to do, too. Make friends, meet NPC's, do quests, grind here and there, and heres something you don't see in your average game - plvling! :O
PvP: I don't care much for PvP, but that I would give 8/10. No comment :P
Community and People: 10/10! Everyone but 2 or 3 people I met were very friendly and caring. There are people who will help you level up and people who will give you stuff practically for free. (Once this guy sold me 2 eggs for only 10 penya each O_O) Most will ask you to party and join a guild, whitch most of the time is useful, but at other times... well...
1st time asked to join a guild: Oooh I'm actually qualified to join a guild! Wewt I'm not a noob OH YEAH! O_o
After I quit, 2nd time: Sure... o_o
10th time: No sorry.. unless your guild warehouse is open NO. xD
25th time: Leave me ALONE! I don't want to join your frikkin guild!
40th time: GAH! GET AWAY YOU REQUESTS! I DONT WANT TO JOIN YER GUILD! LEAVE ME ALONE!~!!!
And so on... until I found the perfect guild. (MetallicA is my fave guild.)
Economy: 6/10 They aren't doing so well. 2 years ago, the cost to change the color and style of your hair was 6k penya. Not so bad. Now-a-days, it costs 6 million penya. See my point?
Sound effects: 5/10 BG music gets rlly annoying. REALLY. ANNOYING. The sound effects themselves are really silly and sometimes squeaky and annoying, but they are alright.

Comment: I"ve played this game for about 2 years now and I enjoy it quite a bit. For those of you who only focus on the leveling aspect of the game, of course you gave it a bad review. This game is 70% Community and 30% leveling.
Graphics: 8/10 They"re cartoonish and even frightening at first but you grow to like them.
Gameplay: 10/10 This is where it got me. x3 There are so damn many things to do. You can go slaughter some monsters, hang out with friends, or just explore.
PvP: 7/10 This was much better when each cluster had a PvP server. They have an arena now though and that can still be entertaining.
Community: 10/10 Nearly everyone is helpful despite the occasional ass who can"t speak proper english. They are open and willing to lend you a hand (or even money if you ask nicely) if you need it.
Music: 6/10 This is an aspect that can be improved on. The sound effects are alright..but the back ground music...-shudder- Well, let me explain it.
1st Day: Wow,this music is really quirky and catchy.
3rd Day: I wonder when it changes...
5th Day: A change of tunes would be nice around now.
7th Day: Okay, this is starting to get annoying.
10th Day: Omg, this is starting to get annoying.
20th Day: DIE YOU BACK GROUND MUSIC! AHHHH! DAI DAI DAI! I HATE YOU! -holds up silver cross- I shall vanquish you! D:<
25th Day: Wow, there"s a button to turn off the background music..ahh..ohh yah..there we go. Much better.

While yes it is a grindfest...really what FREE
mmorpg isnt?
Second, this is the first game I was compelled to stay (after the grindfest dicovery) because of the community...the people are truly nice ppl
with exceptions but if your stuck dont just wander aimlessly looking for that exclamtion point over an NPC just ask someone...for the most part if they speak the same language and are not an *** theyll point you in the right direction or take you.
Third, MAKE FRIENDS!!!!!! seriously the community's that big that no matter what god/demi god/no god/fashion label you worship you will find ppl to hang out with and lvl with.
Lastly, unlike some ridiculous game sthat have the annoying auction/trade function, Flyff allows you to open up shop pretty much anywhere and take advantage of the still growing community and make mondo $$$.
If your looking for a game that you can put some thought into and then just sit back grind and chat with friends then download this you wont be dissapointed.
EASY 8/10

Comment: Flyff is a really fun game once you get the hang of things. When i first started i got my char to 20, got the hang of things, and made a new one. It takes about 2-3 hours at the most to get to level 20 so idk why people are complaining about it. Flyff has lots of skills to use and you do more than just grind all the time. The PvP is awesomely fun theres a big arena where you just basically go crazy and kill people. It is hard in the beginning but once you get 60 its esy and it doesn't take long to get to 60. I can get to level 60 in 2 days, 3 at the most ( and only takes 3 sometimes because i don't always play ). I now have 7 60+ chars and one 96 char ( my main ) and almost 2b worth of items. Graphix aren't the best, most people see the graphix and quickly quit the game but if you just give it a chance it'll be worth it :>

But the thing that bothered me the most is that the whole time you're playing FlyFF, you get this feeling that no one wants you around. Most of the players where snobby as hell, and for no reason! Seems to cater towards the higher level players.

Comment: I just wonders... Why are all the people, who are complaining on this game, only nooobs who havent even reached lvl 20?! You say its tough to lvl up in this game, but hey, it takes me like just 2-3 hours to lvl to 20, and if you do it in like 10 hours, you ARE a noob, live with it!!!
Graphics: Really nice! Nothing wrong with it, but i guess you have to like cartoonish graphics if you"re gonna like it at all. And it will NOT lagg, unless you have a pice of junk computer!!! Wich people seem to complain at...
Gameplay: Well i know its a hell lot of grinding in Flyff, but you level quite fast, so what the heck... The fighting system is ok, depends on what class you like to play as, some hates to play as mages as it takes time to use with your spells and you have low defence, and some love that way. Personally i play as merc as you kill mobs faster, but i guess its not as fun as the other classes. Whatever...
There could have ben more skills, and BETTER QUESTS!!!! The most common quests you do, is all about getting quest items from mobs, who almost never drops them, and after some time you cant even get them anymore cuz your to high level for that kind of mob. And then you find youself bying the items for like 10-30k each... but the other quests are quite ok.
Music: I really like the music in this game! It has that special kind of feeling. Its not super, but it aint bad either.
Overall, i give this game a 8, becouse its a quite decent game after all. And everyone who think it stinks, are just noobs who dont even gives the game a chance and level to like lvl 10 or something...

graphics 8/10 good but could have improvements
sound 6/10 skill and attacking sounds r cool but the bgm can give you a huge headache
gameplay 9/10 very fun gameplay
movement 8/10 at lvl 20+ you can fly which gives the game a whole new feel
pvp 6/10 they offer a pvp arena dueling and guild combat but only one server offers pking which makes the game kind of boring if you like to pk
community 9/10 very nice people and not run by 8 year olds like many other games

Comment: Flyff; the name caught my eye a few times when I was scanning GameOgre.com for games. I just never had the heart to download it...and when I finally did, I was, quite literally, amazed. Here"s my review.
Graphics/Sound - The game"s graphics are quite good for a free MMORPG. They have some cute and amazingly detailed anime style characters and weapons, and the monsters are detailed enough that you may tell most of them apart.
The background music gets repetitive, and fast. For most of your areas, you have the standard background music, and then some other random sounds may join in (such as you attacking a monster, jumping, walking, etc.) It"s nothing worth listening to, but it adds to the atmosphere a bit.
Gameplay/Difficulty - The gameplay is your standard point and click to attack, and you have your skills and magics, which you may assign hotkeys to. But one interesting feature is the combo hotkey, which is located to the bottom right of your standard playing screen. You may add two or more different skills to that hotbar (only if the skills are able to be used together; you can tell they are if they "connect" to each other), and when you press the assigned key, your character casts those skills one at a time until it reaches the last skill on the list, or runs out of energy or Magic.
The game"s actually quite difficult in terms of staying alive. The Player Versus Monster maps are filled with enemies (some even flying high up in the sky), and contains a fair amount of dungeons. You also gain experience at a fairly slow rate, so it"s not quite safe to say that it"s a grind yet. I only played until level 22 on a Mage, so I leveled pretty fast considering I could kill things a few levels higher than I was.
Events/Quests - The quests include standards to most MMORPGs; your collection quests and hunting quests are abound, not to mention a slew of other, newer quests. I encountered a quest once (I was unable to do it, but a friend of mine was) that require you to fly to a certain part of the map and back. It was new, but nothing too big.
Events are bland and never there when you want them, or are able to do them. They usually require you to go and kill some monsters for a unique drop, or you get 2 times the experience for an allotted amount of time.
Community/Guilds - The community is VERY friendly! I"ve never met a friendlier community in any MMORPG. Anybody will happily join a party with you, and some will even invite you to their guild. I made quite a few friends (a total of 52, and that"s ACTIVE friends!), and I still keep in touch with most of them through messengers.
The guilds are decent and provide moderate help, and are enhanced to provide a guild storage warehouse and even, at times, guild events may be held officially.
This game is a really good play, and it doesn"t get boring for quite a while. It"s safe to say that this game is definitely worth the download and play.
I"ll give this game...
A 9 - 10!
A must play for any MMORPG fan.
A PS review: I never hit on the flying part of the game, so here it is; it"s great and fun, and really awkward. But with the right training, I was up and flying in no time at all! It adds a whole new atmosphere to the game entirely.

Comment: ok i just made and acount to say what i think about my personal favriot game. True lvling gets boring. my main guy i havent lvled in weeks now? but theres tons of fun things to do. The Community ranges from kind people, to jerks who'll just say, "ha, u nub i beat u nub" and when u see those guys, u think wow hes a noob. then theres the people that r awesome that u can be freinds with and talk to, trust me lvling is alot less boring when your freinds there. You can also either 1v1 duel your freinds, or go to the arena and just kill everyone who trys to kill your freind, seeking revenge for your fallen freind. Needless to say its like any game, it can be boring if u make it that way, or a great time. (it helps to make freinds my brother has no freinds and quits alot then comes back and quits)

I don't know about the other version but I began playing in October (v9?) and there was no pk in mushpoie server?? well some ppl complaint that it was removed and others say its better, i think it is better now. i dont like ppl trying to kill me. Other feature I like but its from v11 (v12? idk what version we are now) is that theres PvP arena now and u don't loose ur status...
About the community, theres people who help others even by their own will (yesterday many RM's helped me by buffing my merc and I didn't requested nothing from them), and theres the others that only want to leech or bug u around... lets not generalize, theres good and bad ppl in all games.
Other cool thing is the Guild Siege, its really a nice show if u're watching from the spectator place and u dont have nothing else to do that day... xD
Although the good stuff, i realize theres too much grinding to move forward to the other lvl after lvl 65. Also now i'm bored of the same music... (be4 u play, put some music on your background lol)...
Another thing I don't like is that egg-hatched pets die easily, u have to feed'em constantly and if u get disconnected from the pet might die because u will probably remain connected and be killed or because the pet ran out of Hp T_T
Last issue is the invasion events: kill Clockworks! my god! thats crazyness, ppl come out even from under the rocks and u get all the lag you didnt experienced in a whole year lmao...also the stupid clockworks are AOE's! and u die and bye bye 5% exp! theres also lots of other giant that would kill u or chase u (last invasion i was chased by 10 giant rockepeller o_O wtf?)
after all, I give Flyff an 8!

Comment: This game was pretty good, until level 20. First, you have to grind till level 7 just to start doing quests. Then you grind until level 15 to get your class. Then you grind to level 20 to fly. Thats about all the fun is, if you like to grind. I enjoyed it because the community was pretty friendly. After level 20, the word grind takes on a whole other meaning. Grind - Sit in front of your computer for 12 hours before you get a single level. Quests are stupid, they tell you to go collect something that a monster drops once every 100 kills, and it requires 80 of them. The monster gives no experience too. So it kinda sucks after 20. First few levels are enjoyable though, along with a good community. Overall 6

WORST GAME EVER. EVERY quest is the EXACT same just with different names of mobs/items, and nothing else to do but fly, talk, and grind. Events make it a little fun, but they are extremely infrequent and usually too hard for new players.

Comment: The graphics are ok, but the skills are really simple and everyone has them. The game is only grinding, because the quests are simple (as Xroalia said, "get x amount of items from x mob"). I prefer an intriguing story line, not just 'kill kill kill until you are filled with experience!!!' Please, do not waste your life. I would rather play WoW than FlyFB (Fly For Boredom).

actually, the monsters are rather unique as they give them 'sizes', not colours.
Grinding is slightly better with the motivation of quest items and rare weapons.
As a flyer for a year, I give it 9.
It would have been 10 if not for the not-so-nice music.

Gameplay is nice i suppose. The world is super huge. Takes sometime to walk around if you are not flying.
Too bad community is very bad. What turns me on to mmo is community and pvp. I don't mind moderate grinding though. I was level 20 and about to buy broom when a G** added me said he wanna bang me.

You play Baldurs Gate? An awesome game non the less, but i think that doesn't take up as much space on a PC then flyff. To be honest Maplestory is one of the most engaging games i played. Don't get me wrong i know a good mmorpg when i see it. Nice review but you might wanna check PC specs.

Unto my review,
I thought differently towards this game. I saw most of you either hated the community or the tutorial or the grinding. I have only played korean MMO's that make you grind (this seemingly made WoW look like a deity). I played this during summer (i call it grind fest month). I'm a lvl 22 merc that needs to re-stat. For the "Buy for Fun" dohicky, its basicly not true.
Also people playing PvP servers are your guys problem. I find guild wars a funner PvP (not "Guild Wars" i mean't a guild war). I also find the cookie cutter grinding true but i Flyff it off. This game is a nice randition of a korean MMO.

Comment: Ah, Fly For Fun... I like to call it Buy For Fun because that"s what you have to do to actually have FUN in this game. It revolves around their overpriced cash shop. So if you don"t like spending money on MMORPGs don"t bother with this one.
Grind. Grind, grind and more grind. Basically there is 1 quest per two levels aside for a few others... These quests ask you to do the same thing over and over, i.e. get x amount of items from x mob. And that"s it. Pitiful quests.
PvP requires no effort whatsoever. You basically just double-click you opponent and it"s over in 2 seconds. PK is also horrible, there is a separate server for PK only and your character is a real bitch to level up.
Skills... horrible skills, horrible skill system horrible wait time and there"s no such thing as combos unless you use the skill slot which you can only use a couple of times until you have to wait 5 minutes for it to cool down.
Jobs. Assist, acrobat, mercenary and magician. Mercenary is probably the most boring of all the classes. Double-click a mob, wait, rinse and repeat. Yawn. Assist is a healing class... prepare to be bombarded with "ONG BUFFZ PL0X11!!11eleventyone1!!11" wherever you go. Mage sucks to level since it takes so long to perform one skill after another it"s a real drag. Acrobat is basically the equivalent of archer with a yo-yo weapon add on. They are weak and are just as bad as mercenaries except you have to spend a LOT more money on them.
Tons of bots in towns, TONS of drop stealers, non stop unfair PK in PK server, scammers everywhere, all in all, crap community.
Graphics is just whatever. Nothing special, though the lag is horrible. Attacking gets tiring to look at as you just do the same attack sequence over and over. Customization is the worst. At character creation you can"t even change your hair colour and it costs millions to change in game so everyone ends up looking the same.
All in all, Flyff, you get a 0 from me because quite frankly, you are terrible.

Comment: i prefer this game over many p2p games such as WoW. the graphics are just fine, i kind of like the cartoonish look. idk why some of the comments say that u should turn ur sound off and crap, but i know i dont come to an mmorpg just for ear-candy.
the class system and class balance is pretty well done. every class can be powerful, and at the same time each class is completely different. character builds can be played around with: out came the creation of the bowjester, a yoyo dude that uses a bow even though he/she is not supposed to.
its well done, constantly being upgraded and changed according to the complaints of the people, the community isnt bad idk where people got that from, you cant just buy as many HP pots as you want and never die: sort of realistically theres a limit to how much you can eat at once, okay graphics that surprisingly work well on low end computers, unique skill point system, i love it!

Comment: I played it year or two ago and quited. I made my char (melee) to lvl 35 or something. I got a very good sword from one quest, I started to pimp it with elemental cards and it disappeared. (I had heard about that rule, but i thought the cards were those what disappear, not weps). Well, i got angry about that and started a new char. I made him to lvl 10, then quited. The only point of this game is killing killing and killing. When u go to PK server and kill some1, u'll go to jail and have to kill 200 monsters, it takes many hours :). No other skills in the game but killing... -.- Even quests contain killing only. The great part is flying, the graphics are also quite good. Music is awful.

Comment: this is an absolutely awsome game, ive read a few comments in here and dang, alot of em are hating. for something as free such as this i think it deserves more credit, alot more. im no newbie either. i have played 1 year in half on and off(i didnt want to get addicted) and trust me when i say this, flyff is defenetly one of the best mmorpg out there,(i have tried alot)... for ppls information this game is a newbie lover, and ppl do help. because for like a month i would guide ppl through the game and buff alot of em(which is essential). community is good, graphics is good(for free), leveling system is decent, skills are up to par, but its true that its a pain for classes like elementors and ringmasters, because skill points thing.

Its free, its fun, its awsome a pure winner in my book. Just not perfect (but the gaming world has become far from perfect being that the horrible games are getting all the attention) Flyff beats GW and WOW anyday.

I just have to say that it is very well thought out of, the flying system is good although the only point of it is to travel between worlds or go somewhere fast. It's a good concept but it's next to useless if you give thought to it. The characters are pretty well thought out and such. The graphics aren't perfect but are pretty good. I must admit the monsters deserve a bit more thought. They go from small to just the name and then captain then giant. I like it but they don't change the colors of the monsters unless it is just their regular self. You'd understand if you played it. It is fun to play and it is fun to play for a long time. There isn't a lot to do thoguh caus quests aren't very useful. The community isn't horrible though, which is rare in free MMORPGs. I mean I make it sound bad but it isn't really that bad...

Comment: This is one of those games that is so addicting that you will come back for more even a couple of years from now.
Graphics: Hell their not WoW graphics, but the developer did good job on them. You can even adjust them in the options menu. 8/10
Sound: The music is veryyyyyyyyyyyyy annoying, and the joy that comes from hearing monsters scream for mercy starts to wear out after a while.7/10
Gameplay: Flying is this games strongest point, it is really fun. The mid-air combat is almost identical to ground-based combat, except for some little twists. The quests aren"t nearly as good Runescape"s, mostly because most of them follow the same routine, get a quest from the quest office, go kill a specific type of monster and collect the trash that it drops. I know it sounds stupid, because it is, but this is just a small problem and can be overlooked. Combat is very easy and doesnt really become tedious. 10/10

later on at level 60 you can go for your second job
the gameplay is easy , just click on a monster and you grind away !!
the combat music is ok and evryone in there is nice
people are real nice and helpful in there as long as you dont bug them too much
this is a game you can spend hours on without getting bored
its a very good game for a free online so ill give it a 10

Comment: Flyff is one of the greatest ideas for MMO's that are set in this kind of fantasy like theme. The game gets you on an easy start and leveling up is quick and painless well as painless as I remember. I have not played this game for very long just until level 20 or so and I found this game to be very interesting and the camera view from behind the palyer is much better than the camera views I have seen in other games like tales of pirates which is one of the recent MMO's I have played and gotten bored of. This game has many advantages such as this new found ability to fly which has not be equipped in other games. Flying is a better way to travel in most games I would say than walking on land with a bunch of obstacles like buildings or trees in your way. When flying it is like a whole new different battlefield up there as you can fight different types of enemies that are different to what I have seen in other games. Sure there are some drawbacks like having to pay for great equipment and I am not a fan of a game where you buy new equipment using credit card as virtual items arn't useful for very much. The game has stunning graffics but has a big drawback of lagging as do most MMORPG's of this type have like Rappelz and Knights Online World. At least when the character dies you only lose a little experience which is not a big deal. The many different skills make the game fun as using magic gets boring unless it is amazingly animated. Also the fighting is pretty good the attacks are fast and fluid and can be different with different types of weapons. This game was briliantly created and I give it a 9 on acount of the bugs that still happen in game and I know that the designers are trying their best to fix them.
P.S. this game is free to play forever, but like many MMORPG's of this type take quite a long time to load (emphasis on LONG).

Comment: I'd like to start off by saying I did play this game for a long time (since beta) so don't assume I'm one of the noobs who got to level 5 and quit then decided to rate a game based on about 5 mins of knowledge or ignorance, your call.
let's take it one part at a time...
The price to play..Yeah it's free to download and all but if you expect to have good equipment at higher levels (this issue starts mainly at level 75) prepare to break your wallet in the cash shop. Theres people who have easily spent in upwards $1000 dollars in the cash shop, and YES this is not an exageration I've talked to and been friends with people like them, giving them a huge edge in the game assuming they spent it on upgrades. Just be prepared to a) suck in comparison at higher levels or b) empty your wallet.
The gameplay: Probably the most redeeming feature about this game. It is amazingly simple. Leveling skills, now after they implemented v7 a while ago, is as simple as pointing and clicking. Skills are put in your f keys and you can put them in 4 different skills bars by pressing the numbers 1 2 3 and 4. The movement is either point and click or w,a,s,d it's your call. The biggest feature in this game is being able to fly around on a broom,board,hoverbike(a cash shop items which is really and expensive board with a dinky plastic cover) or a sword board which is pretty much a 199million penya, the in game currency, overpriced broom.
Graphics: Fair, but poor in comparison to other free games such as Fiesta, Guild Wars (assuming you consider Guild Wars a free mmorpg), and Scions of Fate. All of the skills have unique effects which are fairly eye catching. Armor and weapons look fairly boring in the beginning like most games but later in the game the Items become much more interesting. Environments in the game a fairly bland and really only change about 4 times in the game.
Sounds: Pathetic turn your sound off before you even start the download. I did and when i turned it on while playing my Ringmaster, the healers in the game, I soon came to notice that my skills all sounded like cars driving past a recorder on the ground. The music changes from when you're flying, fighting, and walking around in town, none of which are at all enjoyable.
In a recent update (v9) they implemented a pet system, a crafting system, a pk system(which was removed, I'll explain below) and other features.
Now let me break one more thing down for anybody interested in this game.
beta-v6: simply amazing. Some glitches but nothing the community was to annoyed by.
v7: Skill system was changed from using a skill to get exp for it to simply distributing points gained by leveling. This skill system was rather unfair to some classes such as ringmasters and elementors causing many of them to quit the game.
v8:Got cancelled after the beta because everybody who tried it hated it. They were intending on implementing a new annoying and rather unfair pk system that nobody want to have a part in. All channels would become pk channels while in previous versions all channels but one were pve except in special areas.
v9: Pretty much v8 except they added in pets to voer up for their epic failure that was v8. People soon complained and boycotted the cash shop demanding a prompt fix from the developers which was soon achieved. But wait they took out all the pk except on a new server which would require you to make a brand new character just to pk. In v7 the cash shop was there, but not forced on you. v9 simply pushes the cash shop in your face and won't move. If you die, you get an option to go to the cash shop. You start the patching process all ads for cash shop items. They made it so that keeping a pet alive is nearly impossible to do without buying cash shop items.
bottom line is I wouldn't recommend this game until many of the games issues from v9 are resolved.

Used to like it, but with the creation of V9...ew.
The community is god-awful and won"t help people at ALL. It took me a while to grasp everything. Not only that, the stupid in-game tutorial just wouldn"t work. I rotated the camera a good 5 times and it would not progress. I closed it out and sought help from players. Biggest mistake of my life. Everyone ignored me, except when I called them idiots. "ZOMGZ LYK WHATD I DEEEWW?!". When I explained, they FINALLY told me they didn"t know. Whether it was blowing me off or sheer stupidity I"ll never know, but the community stinks.
And it"s a long way to freakin" fly in the first place. Level 20? You"re kidding me! If you"re going to use an in-game feature as your most heavily-advertised one (and game title), it had better be something you start out with, or get quickly.
As for the Cash Shop, I have one thing to say. Gpotato may be even greedier than Jagex.
(Jagex are Runescape"s creators and treat free to play players badly, with virtually everything restricted or cut.)

Who gave you the "brilliant" idea to make these changes? I can"t go out and train without worrying about getting killed by other players! Also, I work hard to kill a monster about my level, and someone comes along and takes the stuff I rightfully earned!
This game used to be great, but now...it"s only inches away from being as bad as Maplestory.
Good luck getting all your fans and players back, GP. You"ll need it.

In the first 30 minutes I made it to level 6. The graphics are kind of cutesy, but well done. Little lag, only like 1 second or 1/2 second burst every 10 minutes. 10/10

As soon as I got in game, I was mildly confused, and couldn't activate the tutorial. I'm no noob to gaming, so, I looked for monsters to kill outside of town, easily figuring out the minimap.
Grinding was not made easy with the controls, and the poor translating even of item descriptions. The graphics, although "Cute", were not anything special. Lag and slow controls made it slow and boring, and I found Maplestory more engaging than THIS.
Out of sheer disgust, after the first two logins(Don't get me wrong; I did play for a while during those logins.), I uninstalled the game. It does not in any way impress me. To go over the points:
Irritating, slow, and nothing new. It's pure grinding, and although I'm told there are quests, I couldn't make heads or tails of what some NPCs are saying, much less who gives out quests.
... The music sounded kind of neat, but the graphics were the normal attempt at anime ripoff and blocky. Nothing special, and nothing to really catch the eye.
I didn't encounter anyone who would help me, and most people just seemed intent on grinding, or spoke in chatspeak.
And the poor translations. That's what really got me. It seems to me like Flyff was designed/translated fast and cheap. And, in game development, if you want it fast and good, it's not going to be cheap. If you want it to be cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. And if you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
All in all, I don't think ANYONE should be forced to play this. It should be considered torture. Oh, is it painful. I'ma go play some Baldur's Gate 2 to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Yick.

Comment: I tried this a while back and got to level 15~ before I quit.
The graphics, which I"ll admit are not to my taste, are juvenile. I don"t like the anime bobble-headed characters. Aside from that, they are not very impressive. You can see this from the screenshot above. I am not impressed considering there are games with a much smaller download that do better.
Game-play is where this game really suffers though. I did not enjoy slowly hacking away at everything while my brain slowly atrophied to the point where I began to lose consciousness at the keyboard. It"s slow, and lacks immediate response. The skills are your typical cookie-cutter stuff, if you"ve played a Korean MMO before you"ll know what to do.
Flyff is very grindy, even in the low levels. The only way to effectively level was to do the quests, which of course, were in engrish, and barely comprehensible. The drawback of this was, if you"re beyond a quest"s level range, you are not able to start it. I recommend finding a guide with all the quests starting levels before you start if you seriously want to play this, otherwise you will tear your hair out.
I"d rate the community a 3: not very helpful, courteous, or intelligent.
I was also impressed by the whorishness of this game. Every where you turn, Gpotato attempts to shove cash shop trash down your throat... and it is trash. Nearly all of it consists of special outfits, like school girl uniforms etc. Why on earth anyone would pay upwards of 10 USD for decoration is beyond me. I"m not against character customization, but why is it so expensive? But this is Gpotato, so I"m used to it. I have played many of their other games and have noticed that they charge more for CS items than any other game company.
There are better games to play. Stop with the generic rubbish and find a real game. I give it 1 for the flying.

This game was recently updated to a Version 9 Fly For Fun (NOT) on 13 September 2007.
Any ratings of this game are no longer correct. Players are quitting this game in large numbers and many more have temporarily stopped playing. Why?
All game servers are now Player Killer (PK).
If you get PKed you lose 5% of your experience and you can be de-level which does happen. There are penalties for PKing, its harder to get experience, you loss any items if you die even a Cash Shop item. You can’t PK level 20 and below but there is only one place to go above level 20 safely, so PKer are there killing any level 21 keeping them from leveling. Also if done correctly a level 30 mercenary can PK a level 60 any character and win. So you can image the damage a group of PKers can do and have done.
Kill Stealing is possible. You take the time to kill a monster and another player comes along and takes any drops from it. Faster if they have a pet (collecting from Cash Shop)
The fun Player vs Player (PvP) for dueling can easily make you’re a PKer due to a bug. So the chance of someone else killing you on the spot is high.
The Pet system that was implemented is seriously broken:
To get a pet you have to use literally hundreds of quest item to feed the egg to hatch your new pet. Once you have your pet and summon it, it starts dieing, losing 1 Hit Point a second and it only starts with 170 HP. You have to consistently feed it keep it from dieing or unsummon it and if you unsummon you loss any experience gained. If it dies it die period.

Comment: Okay, so I am fairly new to reviewing games. But I will do my best for others wanting to know about this game:
Gameplay: It is pretty easy to get to level 15, which is required for getting a job. Monsters are always abundant and spawn fairly fast. Quests are...decent. Some can be really easy and worth doing for the money (Penya) and exp. And some are just plain dumb. There is a variety of guilds to be invited into. You can use WASD to move, which is a great layout along with your skills set to F1-F9. The community is really good. Random people will come and help you even without asking, and parties are tremendously fun. Leveling to 25 can take about 3 days, after that is purrrreeeee grindage and gets pretty boring alone. Flying adds some depth in the game, as does combat while flying. Overall gameplay is really good. -10/10-
Graphics: Okay, this is no Guild Wars or Oblivion. But for a free MMORPG this game looks really good. A nice cartoonish feel and textures are amazing. Unless you have a really, really, really bad computer/connection you shouldn't lag at all. Only in Server 1 in towns where there are a TON of people shopping and crap. Character costumization is okay at best, though it lacks any difference early on. Though after leveling up and getting new armor and Penya for new looks your chars can look amazing. -8/10-
Sound: The music now loops in the new version! Weee! Other than that, nothing really going for it. So be ready to turn on your stereo/mp3 player soon. -7/10-
Item/Weapons/Etc: Real simple. You can level up your weapons and armor which is good. Monsters drop very little Penya and Items, so if you run out and are in a bad place, dun dun duuuuun. -7/10-
My Rating: This game is worth playing, and can get VERY addicting at first. My only gripe is solo'ing is a real bore, and the new version that JUST came out kinda blows. Players are already complaining and leaving because of some of the things that were taken away (Some skills, PvP pit). Only about a 550MB download, so not that long. -9/10-

The download can take some time though, about 3 hours. If you have a bad computer you may experiance some lag and get disconnected. But otherwise its a good game, just be sure to make some friends on this because it can get kinda boring if you play alone.

Comment: Their customer service is terrible. There was a rollback one time and I happened to send my alt a seidel suit a few minutes before using the mailbox. No big deal, it will be restored back to main, right? Wrong, the suit disappeared into thin air, it was neither on my alt nor my main. The issue was never addressed, although people lost items. If you traded with someone a few minutes before rollback, the seller would have his money but the buyer wouldn"t have the item. Stupid, isn"t it? AND, there was a time when everything you sent through the mailbox got duped. I sent 10mil to my alt, and this npc called FLYFF sent 10mil to my alt as well. Again, the issue wasn"t addressed, and no one was punished for glitch abuse. Also, there are rules that mods and gms claim to exist but that aren"t enforced at all. One is multi-clienting. Even though it is considered a bannable offense for bypassing gameguard, no one ever gets a ban. I know because I"ve been doing this forever with my own character. <_> Also, the cash shop is dominant and you talk about it on their forums, what do you get? A lock. Talk about freedom of speech.

Sure money is easy to make but the prices are the thing that you gotta watch. i sell cards for 5k and for some stupdi reason people would rather buy em for 20k stupid isnt it. Anotehr bad thing is you have to be level 40 and you have to pay 3mil to make a guild. I give it a 9 out of 10 because they really messed up on how they price stuff like pets are like over 70mil wich is alot and most of the players are ratehr over 20 or under 9 wich really stinks.

Now that his/her stupidity has been taken care of, I can review the game.
FlyFF is a really fun game. It may be a bit of a grind in some points (can't tell you how many Adult Lawolfs I had to kill), but it's fun when you get through it. I can't wait to get a job and start flying. That's another thing: jobs. They're pretty awesome. I can't decide between Assist and Mercenary. The skills are pretty awesome, too.
I don't know. I just get some sense of happiness when I'm playing this game. The only way I can put it into words is, "This game is one of the best in the world!".

Comment: This game kicks Runescapes butt. This game is much like WoW, with the exception of being able to get good exp from KILLING, not constant quests. You can do quests, which are mostly ones where you collect quest items from certain monsters. Classes and skills are fun, people are mostly nice, but its rare when someone is mean to noobs. The different channels allowyou to switch if its too crowded where you are, and theres a seperate server for PvP. I play on Aibatt server and have a 62 aoe ranger , 82 RM, and a 50 (future) BJ.
Cool Effects:
-You can upgrade armor and weapons from +1-+10. +3 full armor set/weapon and above glow, and make you look awesome.
-When you die, you get bonuses (i.e. higher crit rate) and you can recover part of your lost exp from an experience box left on the exact spot where you die.
-Pick hairstyles and faces. You can be female or male, doesn"t matter if your going to be a mercenary(fighter) or an Acrobat(uses mostly bows).
Pros:
-Good graphics
-Only lags on Channel 1(server which always has most ppl) if u have very bad pc and are in a big city.
-Friendly community, easy and fun to level to 15 and become your 1st job class.
Cons:
-Big server lags can disconnect you, but only happens with abad computer.
Additional stuff:i see somene said this game was "cute". Hey buddy, have you actually gone past level 15? Because after that, youdont use cookies to heal, it doesnt take 10sec to heal, and your 10 yr old character looks older in cool armor.

Comment: Flyff, at its core, is a fun game. The cartoonish graphics are not over-the-top or buggy, and the PvE gameplay is very solid. Unfortunately, its a complete grind to lvl once you get past the begging levels (1-20), and the npcs are either too easy or too hard, which matters when you get a % of a % per monster killed. The party system is unique, and the flying aspect adds variety, but overall its not enough to save it from the traditional molds of MMO gameplay.
If you have alot of time, and friends that play the game, then go ahead and download it. Otherwise forget it.

Comment: I'm currently level 18. I must say this game is one of the BEST MMORPGS ever! PLAY IT NOW ^^ you won't regret it!
Pros:
-Other players in the game are SUPER FRIENDLY. (90% of them). I haven't met a mean/unhelpful person yet~
-Very cute characters and monsters ^^
-YOU GET TO FLY!!! like omg! FUN!
Cons:
-Before lvl 20 its kinda boring but you get to learn more about the game, then you can fly, etc!
-Background music kinda gets to me. Like you keep hearing the same tune~ but then again you can turn on iTunes in the background or whatever ^^
-Earning money at early levels (before 15) is hard

Comment: really good game, another click to play but overall not bad pvp kinda cool, especially when fighting acrobats as a hybrid assist. Well if u play u know more about it. But really got boring at 35. honestly i stopped. But im gonna go back because pretty fun but try to moderate it out. Well really close to WOW the best among free mmorpgs except maybe gunz online. Ang it gets a lot less cute at higher levels. You have to fight mutated stuff really weird. Anyway yes very doll, cutesie but as you get higher the gear becomes badass to an extent that your chars look equivalent to any games high lvls. still, pain in the butt to play because lots of people are on but not many around your lvl. And guilds get unbelievably picky and no guild wars. sorry people. but pvp fun, only downside is on pvp servers u get -karma where they put u in jail if u kill some1 unless u get attacked. Pain in the butt to get out and if i forgot anything, just check the other reviews :)

1. all the chars look like adorible little 8 year olds.
2. grinding is slow and sort of pointless
3. the first 15 level absoutly STINK. (after that, the game gets pretty interesting though)

Comment: This is a decent game. It is somewhat fun running around killing things. Way too cute for taste though. There's practically no character customization though. This wouldn't be so bad if your character wasn't a 10 year old. Everything in this game screams "cute." Instead of using potions and such to heal yourself, you eat cookies and drink milkshakes. Which you don't really need since you will become completely healed if you just stand still for about 10 seconds. The items are cute, the people are cute, the random penguin that stands in the corner of your screen for no apparent reason is cute. Even the monsters are cute. One of them actually has cute in their name.

Comment: for all of you that put 2s or 3s you obviously dont have a large attention span. This is a great game and lvls 1-20 I believe are the worst. You also need to take the time to find which class best suits you. At lvl 60 each class branches out into 2 more unique classes. I have a lvl 81 Billposter( a branch of assist) and i love grinding with him and i get .08% a kill(like 20+ seconds a kill hehe). I didnt start out with assist though. You must experiment with different classes and find friends to enjoy this game.

Comment: This is probably the best free MMORPG I've ever played. I have played everquest, and this, I believe, tops it. The gameplay is easy to learn and fun to play. Yeah there is kindy cartoony graphics, but I think it makes it fun. I love the complete sets of armor, and cool weapons that you can find in the game. I like the ability to choose different classes, with another chance to choose a master class. The PvP in this game is awesome. In non-pk servers there is a designated dueling arena, and a guild war arena. In the pk server it can become all out war with people murdering each other, and the option to become a bounty hunter. Yeah it's awesome! Not to mention the huge world you have to explore. Not interested yet, well did I mention you can fly? Yes, it's true, you can fly.
So now for the downsides. There is an option to pay to get more equipment, or maybe some cool clothes. You don't have to to enjoy the game though. It can get a little laggy if you have a computer with even the recomended requirements. I have an exceptional computer and I don't lag at all even in the busy servers. It can get a little boring if you like to solo. You'll have to make some friends to totally enjoy this game.

Comment: fun game, but it could be better. the graphics are amazing, i'm surprised my computer can run it. it's very well rounded and easy to play. it does tend to lag occasionally, like when you go into town where alot of people are or when you fly really high, since your computer has to load all the little monsters you're flying over. flying itself is very fun and does provide an exceptional way to travel. it's cool cause if you're rich or have rich friends they can buy you the best board/broom right off the bat and you can fly really fast. pvp is an improvement and dueling is cool, cause i'm pretty sure you dont really lose anything by dying, and there usually is an assist around to revive you. there are tendancies to grind, but the quests are really good for leveling, as they provide you an incentive to kill monsters (if they involve that) cause they can give you a massive increase in exp. my friend once did a quest that gave him 75% exp. most give atleast a 10% boost. the community is very friendly, you get invited to parties alot, which is very useful in training and makes it less boring. dispite the lag and occasionally repetitive gameplay, it's definately something you should check out.

Comment: The game itself is okay once you get past the small things like the lag (I mean what free MMORPG do you know that doesn't lag almost all the good ones do) but the download is a big issue with me when I downloaded the game it took over four hours to download the client install it and then patch the game before I could play overall it took so long I didn't really want to play anymore (although I did a couple of days later and I did like the game).

Comment: I'm from Flyff Philippines, so thiers only three servers namely Iblis(the newest server), Shade(the 2nd server), and Bubble(the oldest server and my current location).
Though FlyFF could definitly use some adjustments, I'm still quite addicted to this game. I own 9 characters, but I highly favor my RM or Ringmaster. ^^;
Positive:
- The graphics are awesome.
- I don't mind the childish charcters. They help me feel young. lol. (they don't look childish once they get to higher levels)
- The world is big. With a capital B.
- Flying gets to compensate for the huge world.
- The types of classes are simple, unique and easy to recodnise.
- The community is pretty friendly. The word 'noob' is like foreign language and rarely used.
- The event decorations and activities gives the game a sense of originality.
- The leveling is challenging. It gives you something to do.
Negative:
- FlyFF philippines isn't as crowded as english FlyFF, but it does lag alot. (But then again, I'm used to it xD)
- Fashion sets and all the useful scrolls are bought with REAL money, and expensive too. (costs 100 pesos for 1 restat scroll, waaaa!)
- Yes, the leveling is challenging, but gets grinding when you get to 90+.
Notes: For those of you who think that getting to lvl 20-30 is grinding, just states that you have the attention span of a pebble and the will-power of wet toilet paper. PS: Try to chat and kill monsters at the same time. You'll get to 90% before you even know it! ^^

Comment: This game has really good graphics, and the flying is amazing. The bad part about this is the GRINDING >_< Unfortunately there aren't skills like in Runescape (but then again Runescape just completely sucks, I won't compare Flyff to that crap), only fighting. Also, the quests are what you expect: Kill X number of things, get this item, deliver item to ____, ect. What's good about the quests though are that they aren't completely random, and each has at least SOME storyline to it, others a lot of storyline. The Dredpet quest (when you reach level 20) is freaking awesome, 'cus of the place you go. (It's like an underground lava place, and 2 cool features is the huge gate (there aren't many gates like that in the MMOs I've played :P, and the earthquake there is when you see the Dredpet. :) Not to mention the graphics ROCK.

I was starting to grind. The game has excellent graphics. But the fact that you play a child will not please older audiences. The PvP is good, up to a certain level. Money is a pain to get because the good stuf costs money and a LOT of it. To make a guild was REAL expensive, according to what my friend told me (near 10 mill). The combat doe get a little repetitive and when you jump you jump like 20 feet in the air! Not realistic right there.

The only reason this game is getting a 9 is because of the grind. The community is much more mature than runescape and the players do not say noob. The graphics are pretty good. The map is HUGE! You either fly for have this teleportain stones.
I would recomned this game to fanasty lovers, and people who have patience.

The parts that make the game Awesome(The Pro"s)
1.Free,but you can buy gear on site.
2.Community is awesome,but not too hard to find out how to play.
3.Huge map,walking takes forever so you can fly.
4.Amazing graphics,they are cartoony but that is what makes this game unique and Awesome.
5.Classes,you start out as 1 common class to level 15 but then become unique and very skilled.
6.Gpotato store,where you can buy in game cloths for your char to make yours unique and one of a kind.
7.Pking system(Player killing),you have your own pking server so you cant be killed anywhere.
8.Pvp system(Player vrs. Player),very own arena where you can face each other in anyworld.
9.Many servers,You got 4 groups of server (Maia,Glaphan,Lawolf,Aibatt),each comes with server 1,2,3(non pk maps)then server 4 is pk map.
10.Classes(higher lvls),at lvl 15 you can choose from Mercenary,Assist,Magician,and Acrobat..
11.Flying,you can choose a board or broom to move around on the maps.
12.Monsters,plenty of monsters so that you can party level or level on your own.
The Bad parts which makes the game alright.(The cons"s)
1.Big map,Flying might be fast but with a huge map it takes awhile to get there.
2.Leveling is a huge grind,and also a little boring once at level 80ish.
3.Money,easy enough to make money off powerdice but you still have to start making huge cash to make your gear better.
Once in game you will make plenty friends and have a lot of fun.Quests are fun but some are really hard,which makes you and your friends work toghether.
Holiday events are good for double exp. and drops and also gives you a chance to try out some gear.
Game deserves a solid 9 for its graphics,community,and fun.

Comment: This game is great for a while especially if you can get friends to play and level up with you. after a while (around lvl 27 for me)you get bored of the same thing over and over and the only thing that changes is what your fighting. Once in a while i still go on and try to make myself level because i know it will be more fun when you get higher up.
pros: Fun for a while, good time killer, many job choices, pretty good battle system
cons: need to be semi-high level for most things, flying really isnt that fun, quests are dumb, YOUR CHARACTERS HAVE UGLY CLOTHES AND COOL ITEMS COST REAL MONEY......
but overall its fun i recommend it!

1)All your base are belong to us! If you don"t get it I am saying this may be one of the worse translated games of all time. The npc make little sense.
Here are examples:
"of Str Star Sword."
"Lolipop deleted as many as 4"
"Dome22you have collected a bounty of xXAssassinnXxpenya of an amount of 1,000,000.
2) Super repedative. There are a number of quest. They basicly ask you to go kill a type of monster and hope to collect a rare drop from them.
3) Rare items suck much. Brown items which are "unique" and are rare drops are in all but a few cases worst than store bought items.
4) Many many many many broken quests or items and npcs that do nothing or once did something but now don"t.
All that aside. This game is fairly fun.

Comment: This game has some of the sweetest graphics of any game on the pc pay or not. Everything about this game is great "conceptually". Lots of class selection, tons of possible skill combinations. You can party up with other people. And there are even PK servers so you can kill people after level 15. Also there is a bounty system so you can get paid to pk people.
However, after less then a week of playing this game I found that you level up slower then a 90 year old grandma. Which is odd because the characters all look like little kids. When it hits me, that this game can probably only truely be enjoyed fully by one of those 2 types of people. 90 year old grandmas and little kids. Which really agrivates me because, everything else about this game, graphics, class/job system, skills, multiplayer options, pretty much better then every other game out there.
Ah if only my mid aged self had the patients to kill bats and mushrooms with a wooden spoon in 15 hits for a few years, I could probably finally have a character worth playing on this game. But I don't so off I go to try to find a game more my speed. Mind you, this is comming from someone who has been playing RPG's for almost 20 years.

Comment: I am lvl 71 psykeeper in this game and i generally love the game. I agree that between the lvls 1-15 is generally boring...but it gives u something to work for. Flying, i was more working twards that lol. This game is still in the beta version and still better than some of the advanced versions out there. So watch out because they update all the time. The graphics are great and i only give this game a 9 because sometimes the servers are down and its alot of just lvling up. There are guilds, guild wars and such that are fun. I would recomend the game so try it :)

Comment: This is like the best game for the cpu ive played that has costed nothing the only problem is you cant be a mage right away wich really bites.I really like the fact thats theres no hackers unlike runescape which was hacked up and alot of people would call me a noob even though I was a lvl 57 and 66mage the only reason I gave this game a 9 out of 10 was because of the whole mage thing otherwise this game rocks! P.S eggu you can do alot of stuff im only a lvl 6 and im haveing a great time so you must not know how to play

You need to be level 15 to do anything. That takes, what, 10, 15 hours? Who wants to play a game they can do almost nothing in for that long? Next, you are stuck as your class. Yay! I am a warrior! Whats that? A MAGE?! Lastly, no level cap. Oh, and NO MINIGAMES OR OTHER SKILLS AT ALL. All you do is fight and fly.

Comment: Good gam with good cartoony like graphics. The game is boring at the start but when u get to lvl 15 and promote it gets addicting like mad. Good weapons and good battle system. ANd flying at lvl 20? AWESOME. The move sets are great and the skill points are easy Well now on to the cons. Sometimes after playing for awhile u just get so bored that u cant even have it on your computer. Overall good game if u have time and like these kinds of games

Comment: This game is a GREAT MMO and the free to play tag makes it even better. Although clarky is partly right. At about lvl 30-40 you hit a block of repetiviness, but after lvl 41 you will be able to experience more dungeons, pks and just meet more friends because many of the flyff population are frequenters to the universe.
I will keep it like this, this is the game for that kid in you that always wanted to fly, the fly mechinisim is a little gimick like, but the dungeons are very maze like, but once you get to the giant gate at the end you can"t wait to see what"s on the other side, and you will want to explore every tiny bit of this game

I like the cute graphics, end game your character looks like a cute little tough guy, fun outfits from item shops(I only buy ones i can use off of players... I refuse to give money to Gpotato), The worst support some how manages the best games.. these people straight up tell you "I am not going to help you, cry more". Grinding is fun after 15 imo, health pots even with the small cooldown kept me on my toes facing higher levelled enemies. The classes are awesome.. Elementors, BP"s and Knights are my favs.
I cant help but keep coming back for several months at a time before I go on a search for another free mmo. If I could give this game a 100 instead of a 10 I would love to.

Comment: I've played this game for over a year and I've never grown tired of it. For your time this is by far the best MMORPG out there to this day. The fact that it is a Free To Play only makes it better (although you do have the ability to spend real money in the Cash Shop to aquire different items and such). Granted I know the game has some pretty hardcore grind to it when you start getting up to some of those higher levels but that's just motivation. I've had several characters on multiple clusters that were over level 90. For the average gamer this probably isn't for you, nor is any MMORPG for that matter. But for fans of them this is worth trying at the very least, you might just like it.
The graphics are great, vibrant environments (especially later on in the game when you're visiting Darkon), great character design (if you like cute anime influenced work), and some customization as far as your character looks.
This game has a ton of stuff to do in it appart from the regular hum-drum of quests. The PVP alone can keep you busy for quite some time.
I give this game a 10 simply for the fact that out of every MMORPG I've played (and there has been a lot) this is the one that I keep coming back to it. Not matter how long I've played it, I can't get bored with it.

I played this game for 2-3monthes before getting bored which isnt to bad. Unlike other games it has an exp skill system, so you have to work on your skills to get them up. It also has flying which is usefull for travelling.
I have to admit it does take a long time to level. At lvl 20 you get about 0.8% for killing a lvl 20 creature. At lvl 40 you get about 0.4% for killing a lvl 40 creature and at lvl 100 you get 0.01% for killing a lvl 100 creature. So yeah it does take a long time to level.
Graphics are amazing for a free rpg. They beat any other free game except rappelz and space cowboy, yet they are all made by the same company.

Flying at lv 20 is fairly awesome, but you would expect getting to level 20 would be easy. WRONG! Flyff would have been a whole lot better if it didn't take SO MUCH DANG TIME TO LEVEL UP! I mean at level 16, you get about 0.1% of leveling up if you kill another level 16 monster. I mean come on! Has a lot of potential, though. Hopefully someone will look at this and make a great game out of it.

Nice graphics and i like those simple skill and battle systems. tho i gave up and uninstalled this game. i got bored. 2 months of being stuck and getting bored of lvling up after lvl 20 with no close goals to reach.

1)put all u stat points like this:50% stamina and 50% stenght till lv 15(bcouse after that u stat points will reset)after that u can choose from 4 diferen classes:magician,mercenary,acrobat and assist.
u can choose tp play with the best stats to lv up fast but u must think about the 2nd job change bcouse many ppl don't buy cash shop items or can't afort to buy 1 in game...its 20m in the 1st 2 weeks of the cluster...now the best way to lv as a assist is like this:choose an aoer assist(thats a area spell/skill hitter) and stay with some1 in party that is a full suport assist(thats a buffer/helear).If u choose 1 vs 1 killing style stay in party with a future knight or psy couse they will have hight defence and u will have hight dmg :) and kill monsters 8-10 lv highter then u .if u play after thise tips u will be lv 15 in 4-6 hours and lv 60 in 5-9 days:)

all the clusters from english flyff with diferent classes but from lv 65 to 75 the exp is low.i dunno why but after 75 its higher :).i did saw that a guy made lv 50 in 2 years omg...if u play 12/24<>7/7 u will be lv 60 in like 5-7 days--that only if u know what is the best metod to lv.......i wish u all good luck and in this mounth it will be an upgrade and a new cluster will be lounched.1 more thing that i like on this game is that hack shield that is upgraded every couple of days and hackers don't destroy the game :)

Comment: This game is awsome i have a lvl 83 knight in this game and a lvl 60 RM and its not hard to lvl except after lvl 65+ i would say but its fun you get alot of skills people are cool right now at lvl 83 i get like 0.06% each kill for a monster 5-10 lvls higher then me so it just takes alot of work but when you get to high lvl its fun to pk people or you could just make another character and start another class its fun i say anyone who wants to try it SHOULD

i started to play this game this year and my opinion is that its a great game..
the people are really nice and you have plenty of skills..
although.. the fighting can be really boring if your a 60+
but you'll love the weapons,clothes,shield etc.
I gues "dunno" didnt really played the game, but just lvl it to 20 or something and some guy owned him in the duel arena.. -___-
i can recommend everybody who likes the feel of freedom and those who likes the graphics.

Comment: I played it for about 20 minutes after wait 2 months to find a site where I could acually download it from and deleted it, it takes a long time to download(unless you have some super powered XPS that takes 20 fans to cool down). I didnt like the movment because the camera moved on me a lot, I got lost really fast and ended up running from some water spider, I just didnt get it but thats my opinion and Im not trying to ruin it for those of you who like it and trying to promote another game like everybody else who give a bad reveiw

well, besides the awesome graphics, not much else going for it. just kill monsters to lvl up...sell some things if you can manage it...get rich if your lucky enough to pick up rare items (which usually doesnt happn) without the rare drops its almost impossible to make sufficient money. hm...
well. at least the mage skills are mad cool. very nice effects. idk about the sound, i always have it off to play my own..so...
the clothes are nice, although they tend to get kind of ugly at higher lvls.
pros: amazing graphics (they have rain/night/day), characters and clothes designed well, skill effects are really cool looking, hard to die unless you suffer from lag, boss monsters, nice party system/guild system/pvp
cons: easily becomes a lvl grind game once you reach lvl 20, massive lag, fetch quests, not that many things to do cept train and sell things...

Comment: I dont like this game...It reminds me of a 3-D version of maplestory....And i HATE maplestory....Hard to download hard to sign up, very time consuming...OK graphics....OK flying features, Id probably LOVE to play this game on another computer because on my computer, when Im fling it lags WAY to much. I unno if its just my comp,but whatever. Too cartooney... Its kinda of a so-so for me. Cause whenever i think of something bad for this game, a good thing about it pops up and vice versa... Good classes bad sound....SEEE????? ill give it a five cause of my mixed emotions of it. I recomoned it to ne1 who has lots of time to download it and register for it......... If you love cartoony anime stlye games like this 1, and a little bit of a Harry-Potter theme magic, then this games for you....

Comment: This is a very fun game (speaking as a person who has wasted way to much time with his friends on it) I have a level 52 character which is my main, A level 41 which was my frist, A lvl 33, a lvl 30, a lvl 21, and a lvl 15 who got stuck on the exile (the place you get sent if you kill someone and get cought) Flying is fun, but its not that advanced yet, but some of the best items in the game can only be goten from flying battles. the economy as some people have said is fun, because if you find a good item then you can sell if for millions of Penya (the money of the game) This game can be a little confusing as is is translated from Korean, and it had no tutorials. My only other complaint is the time it takes to level up at higher levels. Lvling is done on % basis, when you get the % bar filled you level, but there are no EXP points so to say, But i am level 53 and i kill things 10 levels higher then me, and only get .23% exp per kill, and it takes about a 30 seconds to a minute to kill things. And my leve 70 friend gets .02% exp per kill. so as you can see it takes a long time. But getting to 60 is rewarding. I highly recomend this game to anyone who wants a game that is fun, but not so easy that you can become so strong that nothing can kill you.

Comment: Here's my review. best free MMORPG ever in my opinion, with a country nearly(if not larger) the size of the land of the Elder Scrolls Morrowind 3 (if you've ever played)
flying is awesome at first, while it becomes less exciting in the beginning, youll highly appreciate it for its usefulness, and as of now, really cool flight combat systems are being made.--- The macros and hotkeys on this game make the game really fun, and different from other mmorpgs. if you've played a mmorpg before, youll understand and appreciate this.----and...help users have troble with Game Guard---try running the patch server and clicking start, and repeating over and over, if gameguard has been giving you some errors....it somehow cancels the gameguard, and runs the game..thats how i've done it since day one..((DOWNSIDES)): I guess the only real downside of this game is the leveling time, but thats in every online rpg. the worst part of flyff is getting to 15...but once you hit level 15, the whole aspect of the game changes, and even more so at level 20 when you can fly. ((UPSIDES)): i think one of my favorite parts of the game is the economy...quest items, upgraded/empowered weapons, food, energy potions; all are necessary to the flyff traveller, and whats cool, you may set up a shop, where ever you are, where you can put up items for sale, and name their price...many people may get rich off this by knowing where to sell, and knowing the prices. those i know who do not like leveling, become great buisness people who make a large income. I guess that about does it, try it and have fun =) (((oh..and if you ever try it, and find powerdice...dont give away powerdice or sell it for squabbles if you happen to find any, like a noob...its worth about 100k XD)))

Comment: FlyFF is the best free MMORPG developped so far. Like it was said in previous posts, it gets more and more fun (and addictive) after level 15. People who say that they didn't like it probably haven't played the game long enough to see how well it's made and fun it is. The community is much more friendly and interresting than those of other MMORPG (like Runescape). I admit though, some aspects of the game might be confusing at first because there are no complete tutorials. I personnally think that's part of its fun. I guess it wouldn't please to a player who likes to buy a walkthrough for a game and follow it step by step like he'd do to cook a Lipton soup. Anyway, I'm level 42 and I know I'll play until I reach 100 minimum because i'm like many others, addicted to this game. As for lag and connectivity issues, this should be resolved very soon because they're changing for better servers (in june) and have optimised the code.
