The Match-Up

The first match of the second round features two of the most well-known MMOs targeted towards casual gamers. City of Heroes is one of simplest MMOs to play and allows gamers to play out their super hero fantasies. On the hand, World of Warcraft allows gamers to easily jump into a fantasy MMORPG that offers a significant amount of depth. Both games defeated more complex games in the first round with World of Warcraft beating EverQuest 2 and City of Heroes getting past Final Fantasy XI. However, the simplicity of City of Heroes turned out to be not enough for the combination of low learning curve and depth of World of Warcraft.

Comment: WoW needs a lot of work. The only reason they have a player-base is because they add in a little bit of "cocaine" content at the beginning to get you addicted and then decide not to add anything else at the end game. The combat is not very stimulating IMO and the game is completely geared towards one side. What happened to all the games that were "giving tons of content to soloers and groupers"? This one has neither.

Comment: This game is very well planned. Its flight system is amazing. The game play is great with minimal lag. Combat is very fun to participate in, solo or grouped. The game has way more content and better quality content than WoW. WoW is CoH/V without the superpowers, combat system, group and solo activities, great CSRs, etc. Take away all the great things about this game and you have WoW.

Comment: Dislike it. Although it has awesome char customization and easiness, this game has nothing really to offer than some poor PvE.
