Comment: The developer and publisher from Alien Swarm is the company Valve Corporation, famous for the game like Counter Strike or Half Life. The game was released on the July 2010. Alien Swarm is a Single player game, but there is a mode where can join 4 player in one game to play together the campaign. Alien Swarm is a remake mode for the popular game Unreal tournament 2004. This game is just for PC, its not for consoles.
Alien Swarm is single player shooter game, where can play together max 4 players in a campaign game to enter the interesting science fiction world and explore it together
and clear the different alien hordes. Every player before the game starts need to pick from fourty different equipments that increase you basic stats. And they are some unlock able equipments and achievements to. In game they are four different classes to play. You can chose a special role like Medic, Tech, Special Weaponist and Officer and every role got different special weapons and special abilities.
Officer
Gives a passive bonus to damage and damage resistant to allies. His primary weapon is a shotgun with a granades launcher. Its an all rounder. The playable characters for officer names are Sarge and Jeager. The pictures are different, but the character in game is the same.
Special Weaponist
The two playable characters are Wildcat and Wolf.
The special weaponist is a high damage character with an auto gun with superior parameters. The special weapon gain a power-gun mini-gun at higher level. Really strong character.
Medic
Like the word say, its a class for healing your team mates and its the only class who can do it. At the higher levels the medic can use a medic-gun to heal at the same time more then one person and him self too. The characters names are Faith and Bastille.
Tech
Its e special character for technology, like sets up sentry guns, welds doors and this class can unlock different doors or panels. He is using special stun granades and a rifle auto gun. The character names are Crash and Vegas.
The point in this game is to explore and find the Alliance Swarms and to destroy all the aliens and to burn all they eggs, parasites and other different creatures from the space. With a team of four man it is the easier way, but you can play alone but its not so much fun. The graphic of the game is great and the sound effects are cool too. The game is not so popular but still got a nice rating in a single player games. I rate this game with a note of 7/10, because I am not the lover from alien games, or some space games. I recommended the game for players who love to play singleplayer games, and for all aliens and space lovers. Its not so hard to learn, and the campaign is not so hard, and its really fun when you play it with your friends in the multi player campaign game. |
Interesting game available on steam that I used to play coop with my friends.
Few classes to choose from and killing all kind of aliens.End of levels most end up with boss or some kind event.
Before u start game, u need to make your avatar, pick one of 4 classes, Officer, Special Weapons, Medic and Tech, every class has different weapons. Join with up to 3 friends and start shooting, but u need to be careful because u can run out of ammo, and u will have to use melee attack. Gameplay is faster what i like, but i need still need to be careful where are u shooting, because friend fire is on. Camera angle is a bit weird, but ppl get use while playing it.
Not worth playing anymore, because no one plays it. If you really want to play this game, then check: Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop. It’s basically the same game, but with more features and content in general. Don’t know why Valve just didn’t update this, instead of creating a seperate “new” game.
Extremely fun to play with friends, inducing the aspects of rage. Would be good to grind on, had I have been given the time.
4/5 – Fun game to play if you have other people to play with, otherwise you can play with bots. Campaign length is just right too.
Amazing old sci fi 3d shooter game with graphics that are not so good but rather satisfying. The gameplay is also fun and very exciting to play 4/5
Pretty neat free-to-play top-down sci-fi game from 2010. And this game is one of those games that spawn out from a modding community, so that’s kind of cool. Game is co-op, so you will have to team up with friends in this game. You have 4 classes and 8 characters, which is sufficient for this 4 player co-op game. Gameplay looks fun, and the graphics is pretty good for 2010 standards, especially since it makes effective use out of the lighting. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.15/5.
